About the football team... First of all, the problems came before Maradona.
Basically, these players (with the exception of Mascherano) just don't put out the performances they do in their European teams.
I (as many others) thought that Maradona was the right call, a man whose stardom is bigger than theirs, whose support from the people would allow him to make the tough decitions.
He is really a bad coach, but we thought he'd get some help from people who know a bit more than he does, and basically be a motivator for the team.
Instead, he has a bunch of suck-ups who tell him how great he is every day, and how the defeats are anyone's fault but his own.
