I'm going to be taking my first legal related classes next semester as a pre-law sophmore and even I knew that parens patriae meant that the government can take a child away from an abusive parent or guardian. I had to cheat for the other two, but a lawyer ought to just rack them off.

Where in Europe are you from? I'm gonna take an educated guess here that non common law countries would put a higher emphasis on Latin in their law school admissions tests since civil law comes from Roman Law. Again, it's a guess, but beyond legal phrases I would think common law countries like Britain, the US, Canada, etc. wouldn't put quite the emphasis on it.

You do have a point about forum blood lust, though.

And as for the accusations that I have ruined the forums... I only depth charged off one thread, and that was the one where everyone was slagging me off. Sub people weren't trolling they were venting, people are considered haters just because they hate you. Just means they have something in common.
