I don't come often to the forum - as you all know -, but I was alerted by someone that was playing in a game with me, that I was being accused of being a cheater.

It's sad that this kind of behaviour, done by 2 unpolite sore losers, isn't severely punished by admin.
It's easy to throw some dark clows into someone without any proof, just because someone lost a game with me.

Because the behaviour of Ivo_ivanov on the past, I now avoid playing games with him.
If you think that I'm not loyal easy: don't be in games where I am.

I ask the admin to act on those coments or I will be forced by doing the same - throwing mud into some nicks too.
And, you all can be sure, I don't want to do that.

@Perry, it only includes non-live games (otherwise the whole thing would be dominated by live players.

@Silver Wolf, we don't moderate the forums, however I have stated categorically that you are innocent.

I would just like to say, Thank You!, to ghost and everyone here at this site for this recognition. I think as was lucky the year ended when it did as December has been a nightmare for me other than the game peterwiggen mentioned which actually finished on the 1st of 2011.

I love playing here and most players here are not only talented but gracious and this, I think, is what sets this site above all others and why I will continue to play here.

I won't lie and say that this means nothing to me because it does. I'm very happy and I'm happy for everyone else who shone this year. I look forward to playing against, and with a lot of luck, beating you all in 2011!!!

@StevenC Yes I do have proof. However rather then throw it out into the public and possibly tainting names unjustly it has been sent into the mods to look at.

I'd like as much as you for this to be brought to a reasonable fair conclusion. Should that be an innocent or guilty verdict. I hope for a happy conclusion to this all.

If you make sure you've sent us a detailed email with particular games, we can look more closely at them for meta-gaming issues.

Look, I haven't been here a long time, nor am I very good at the game. But from reading this thread, it seems as though you are getting a fair trial - by the mods. Any 'evidence' has been emailed to the mods to be looked at, and if you are innocent as you say, this will be shown by the fact that YOU WON'T BE BANNED. So man the hell up and wait a couple days for your name to be cleared, and you'll be fine. It's an unmoderated forum, people will sling mud if you beat them. Wipe yourself down and beat them again.

The mods have stated repeatedly that this kind of accusation shouldn't be mentioned in the forum. It makes a person seem guilty when it is to prove...

What Damian did, after figle and ghost said that this shouldn't be mentioned, by saying that yes he has proof doesn't contribute in any way to this.
Send it to the mods...they will act if it is proven that there is anything "illegal".
Silver wolf is in my world cup team and is my compatriot. I believe he is inocent.

@Silverwolf - i think you should stay too, this game is always going to produce some resentment to those who are successful, it is the nature of the game.

@Ghost - just to be pedantic, should you be declaring Silverwolf innocent? I thought that the best you could do is say that he hasn't been proved guilty.

Without wanting to open up old threads can a honours system that incudes Agent K really be robust? He has been banned in the past and their is evidence of further violations, not dealing with such things properly undermines the honours system and Ghost ranking

@Maniac - Yes I think it can. The ability to cancel past games would be brilliant, and would allow us to completely remove these questions. Until then, we must just accept that if someone cheated in the past but their recent behaviour has been fair, they should be allowed to continue.

i've played Silver Wolf a number of times, though obviously not in a while, and i'll throw in my two cents against accusations made in the forum. if i had any problem with how Silver Wolf played -- which i don't -- i would mail them to the mods and hear them out. dragging someone's name in the mud on here when the mods haven't made a decision one way or the other, much less when they've stated that theyve seen no proof of someone cheating, is cheap.

on the flip side, Silver Wolf, you're clearly a good player and diplomat. i find it hard to believe that you'd let this kind of silliness get under your skin. toughen up a little -- people said all kinds of stuff in online forums! say your piece, help the mods with their research to prove you're playing by the rules, and you're set. then go back to playing. i think i've been called a cheat, even had someone make an account with the name "dbent1" just to mess with me, but that's life.

anyway, it's a game. if you aren't having fun playing any more, fair enough and good luck enjoying yourself elsewhere. but don't get too wound up about this, there are enough things in life that cause stress and frustration, no?

I have played 2-3 games with Silver Wolf, and can testify he is a brilliant player that can manipulate others with a great mastery. I have learnt a lot from the games we played together, and I do not think that a player of such caliber needs to cheat in order to win.

For all the people who accuse him of cheating - please, stop. This is inpolite, especially in the light of the mods repeatedly checking your complaints and stating Silver Wolf is innocent.

It's quite normal, for me, to avoid stabbing someone that proofed before to be trusfull.
In such a small community (compared to other world popular games) it's normal to repeat playing with the same players and to know how they play, isn't it?

I know it's hard to believe that this happened on this game, but I've made some good friends on this site, people from another countries, another continents.

Just for the record, I'm being accused of cheating on 2,7% of my games... without solid proofs.

Either keep it to yourself or to the mods or out with the games, if this is going to be public then produce your evidence ratehr than making otherwise-empty claims against a respected player, and if this is going to be private show the games to the mods and let's have no more of it in the open.

No I don't think you should. You have sent your information to the mods, so there is no reason for you to say anything else about it until the mods come up with a decision. The same goes for Silver and his supporters. Nothing will happen until the mods have deliberated so all posts on this thread - while emotionally charged, serve no purpose other then voicing various opinions. I think this thread should be put to rest and if not now, at least as soon as the mods make the decision known.

I am not a sore looser. About 1/3 of the games I enter, I intend to loose, so when i want to loose its kinda of hard to be a sore looser.

What I do know, is he cheats. He plays dirty, taking advantage of someone who requested a pause. He also multi accounts.
