Can we use gifs and Vines, or just videos?

I would limit it to just videos. Since we're suppose to be telling messages through music.

Don't do it. gifs and Vines gives 2WL too much power. He'll be unstoppable.

gifs are essentially videos, so I'd say they are OK. I'm over 40 and apparently no longer hip, so what's a vine? (Latest social something or other, I guess).

OK...clarification: Click to a moving image (thus gif is OK) preferably with sound that is *not* of your own making. "Commercial" content (like main stream music videos) are preferred, because it taps in to cultural knowledge, etc and will be generally cool to see, but generally seeking creative video messaging.

Do NOT post to any link which would require someone to sign up for an account or verify age.

I'd like to offer a suggestion as well - can we keep the videos as short as possible to get the message across? I don't want to be wading through a ten minute video or backmasking a Sabbath record trying to decipher a message from gold.

And with gifs you can personalize with messages. Harder to do that with the videos.

And krellin, vines are essentially 5 second videos.

@2wl - if someone sends you a 2-minute message that you can't decipher, then their message won't get across...and that is their problem.

IN the example, the titles alone conveyed the message. If you message in in the third line of the second stanza...it *will* be lost in the noise...
