It should boost morale to begin using money made from trades to create a self sustaining economy. This will improve our morale. It doesnt have to be a regular thing but I think that we should all enjoy the benefits of our wool trade. Remember we bought the wool for a lesser amount of silver than we sold it for. We earned a 150 silver markup for a deal well struck.

I unilaterally oppose any form of payment of Councillors. We are self sustaining and are very well taken care of due to the work that we have put in. Likewise, we are taking good care of everyone and should be here in the pursuit of something greater than gold and silver. For the purposes of having a healthy discussion about a variety of issues I would announce my interest in running for Governor. There are many more qualified councillors who have been here longer than myself. My platform is simple.

Article 1-
All human beings are equal. By equal I mean scientifically, morally, legally.
In genetic composition as in homo sapiens, therefore no man or woman can own another man or woman as if they were property.

Article 2-
I hope to create a "Society for Promoting the Abolition of Slavery" and the Relief of Free people of Playdippia being held unlawfully here in our colony and Others Unlawfully Held in bondage.

Article 3-
I would like to also allow women and slaves the right to vote. Our government will be all inclusive, Progressive and Revolutionary. We will welcome Natives, Congolese, Playdippians, and grow our colony in the King's name- honoring him by naming buildings after him, paying our taxes regularly and growing his loyal subjects in new and creative ways.

Article 4-
We will expand our military and build outposts. We will build schools, libraries, and a college. We will make social reforms that will change the world for the better.

Article 5-
If elected I will work to lower taxes, create jobs, and have a flourishing trade market. We will together build on the accomplishments of Governor Bo. We will pay our citizens for their skills. We will establish a minimum per phase wage to all workers. Together I will push for a pension to be set aside for retirees like myself who maybe struggle getting up in the morning.

We will help subsidize homesteaders who want to settle nearby. We will maintain healthy trade partnerships like Isaac - and use the money we make to improve the lives of the brave folks who settled here and took a chance on a new world. We will create a freer society than the ones we grew up in.

I pledge I will work with our council to combat slavery in the world as well with all tools at our disposal. Through diplomatic means, military, trade and religious doctrine. We will reward other colonies who similarly abolish slavery with luxuries and incentives, benchmarks for gradual transition out of slavery.
