Many of you are already heard about some of my issue with FGAS in online dating (link below for the uninitiated)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4CXmrfFH88
But now they're taking it to the next level... see, if you were foolish enough to fall for the FGAS, they wait until juuuuuuust before you meet up and let you know, "Oh, tee hee, I'm so nervous, I just think you should know that I'm not a skinny-minny."
An inexperienced user of online dating services would think to himself, "Hey, that's cool, I like a healthy woman." WRONG! YOU ARE SO WRONG. Prepare yourself, fool, to meet up with a were-pig of the kind of gross corpulence normally found in the deepest levels of glutton's hell.
So what's all that got to do with guilt? Well the man who is experienced with these matters is left with 2 choices... you back out, and risk hurting the poor thing's feelings, or you go forward, and risk being devoured whole in a moment of irritation. DO NOT GO FORWARD, DO NOT SUBMIT TO GUILT. She has earned hurt feelings... as she has cleverly and deliberately misrepresented herself and laid out this scheme to trap you into the uncomfortable position in which you find yourself. Let me explain (ans waxing psychological here):
People, when trying to find a potential mate, want to present the very best face to the world (nothing wrong with this, everybody does it)
Fat women trying to find a potential mate have mastered technology and photography so that they may, if they so desire present a "best possible face" to the world that is horribly unrepresentative of the truth.
Fat women (perhaps correctly?) believe that their odds of catching a man is to hide her looks and give her "winning personality" a chance to make up the deficit, so they perpetuate the lie by omission of FGAS until the penultimate moment....
then... BAM. "Oh, by the way, you should know I'm not a skinny minny."
So tell me, who's fault is it if you say no and she feels sad and rejected? She has earned every tear she may shed for wasting your time.
Back out. Do it as nicely as you can, but do it all the same. And don't dare let yourself feel guilty about it.
