Snug Earbud-style headphones terrible for running!

The ones that fit more snugly than the default iPhone headphones make your footsteps echo in your head like thunder! It's *really wearying*. I had no idea.

How does the mute option work in this scenario:

If I mute a player, will it in turn mute any threads he/she may create in the future?

I mute everything in the forum except for game-related or threads (I'm here for the game, not for...that). It takes a chunk of time each day to do that. If I were to mute users rather than threads, would it save me from having to mute any threads they may create in the future?

I've taken a long break from Webdip, but I'm back! I'd like to set up a game: Classic WTA, preferably anonymous but not necessary, and a decent bet (250-750). hey all, i would just like to inform everyone that starting at 5pm gmt, thepeoplesvoice.tv is broadcasting live. this is the first real alternative media tv that i have seen. as i have stated before alex jones seems more like a counterintelligence nutcase who does not count.

Game question

Let's say you have a fleet in Tunis and west med, an army in North Africa. You want the army in NA flipped with the fleet Tunis.
What would happen if I ordered Tunis to North Africa; North Africa to Tunis, the army being convoyed there by west med. shouldn't it go through, causing the army to go to Tunis and the fleet going to North Africa?

NFL Pick 'em: Week 12: The Home Stretch Begins

6 weeks left, and they all matter. The 2nd AFC Wild Card team changes by the week, the Chiefs and Broncos look like they'll go down to the wire on the division lead, and 11/16 teams are still within a game or two of the playoffs. In the NFC, the Lions try to hold off the Bears, the Giants suddenly look like they might make it back in a weak NFC East against the Eagles and Cowboys, and my Niners...better right the ship this Monday Night...so pick 'em...

The SAINTS already beat the Falcons, so, the rest of the picks:

Let's start with an upset--the JETS pull one off against the reeling Ravens...
And the STEELERS get another win over the Browns as they try to climb back
The PANTHERS beat the Dolphins on a short week
The BEARS beat the Rams handily
The LIONS dispatch the Bucs
The VIKINGS beat the Rodgers-less Packers
The TEXANS over the Jaguars...
The CHIEFS over the Chargers...
The COLTS take the Cardinals down a peg...
The RAIDERS (technically) stay in the playoff race with a win over the Titans

@Obi: I don't waste my time in blow outs, as soon as a team is dominating, be it mine or my opponents, I leave and check the score periodically come back if it becomes a closer game.

Only exception to that rule is cricket. Cricket I'll watch blow outs.

@GF: I actually hope that eventually Brady plays for another team other then NE.

I want to see how good Brady would be without Belichik and what Belichik could do without a super star QB.

Ironic you'd say that, GF, as Eli's made your team a championship squad TWICE...BOTH TIMES at the expense of Mr. Brady.

(Though two Kyle Williams' fumbles helped get you to the 2nd one...take away either Williams fumble, especially the 1st, and Alex Smith and the Niners win that NFC Championship Game, and the QB situation in San Fran and KC, at least, would be a lot, lot different.)

But Peyton (with the help of a couple calls) responds, 31-31, a worthy game on Sunday night...

And as the Falcons have flopped and the Pack is on its back, NBC and the NFL has flexed the New Orleans/Carolina game in 2 weeks to SNF.

Manning is like Marino with a Super Bowl ring, Brady is like Montana with a bit more of a mercurial temper (Montana was called Joe Cool, and Brady has a habit of yelling at referees and players.)

Don't question Belichik.

And obi - as much as I love Eli, Brady is the better quarterback. There's no real question there. Eli does the long ball a bit better, maybe, but that's about it.

Can Someone Explain Filibustering?

I get the basic premise: if you're in the minority and you feel strongly about something, you can talk for a long time and hopefully bore everyone to death. What I don't understand is why *threatening* to filibuster has the same effect.
