Huh....that's an intersting comment that the media hasn't reported. I wonder if there is anything likewise unique about...oh....I don't know...maybe something unique about the....uh....victims of this "game"....?

Just curious, mind you...I'm not sure of the answer. Maybe some observant soul could help me out....my eyesight is a little bad.

I hope it spreads to Florida, Arizona, Texas, or Montana. We'll see a new appreciation for the "stand your ground" law then!

I'm not going to search for the videos krellin. But I wonder if this could be tackled by offenders being held to the common purpose doctrine? If one victim dies, all attackers are guilty of murder.

That might bring the seriousness of the incidents into perspective.

Honestly, why is the media not covering this in a serious fashion?

Better yet, why are all of the cry-me-a-river race relations advocates in the webdip community - (You know, the ones that like to condemn all white men as guilty when some Hispanic dudes kills a black kid) - why are they so quiet about this?

Not funny at all. People have been killed. It happens in Australia too. And white people (Aussie bogans) do this for too, for sport. The penalties should be severe. If someone dies it should be considered murder and the perpetrator should get life.

@krellin - I was thinking more about holding perps to account for a joint enterprise. Race etc doesn't come into it. If three guys go to rob a shop and one carries a knife and kills the security guard. All can be guilty of murder.

As all these perps seem to have a common enterprise ("the game") then all should be accountable if one person dies regardless of who delivered the fatal blow. It is important of course for law enforcement to let people know that if they participate what the consequences could be even if their victim isn't badly injured.

@Maniac - The onyl reason I bring up raceis because our oh-so-fair-minded WebDip community is so quick to condemn every white person in America when a Hispanic guy kills a black kid....but when we see a growing trend of black youth assaulting White (primarily Jews), not only does the media not mention the clear racial component, but further, they call it a *game*. I'm just very curious as to why all our Noble Liberals around here that are soooo concerned about race relations are so f*ing silent on this one....

SYnapse - You are simply incorrect on this. In some cases the murder is charged to both parties - it depends on the circumstances, involvement of each party, the zealousness of the prosecutor, etc.

The actus reas of murder is to end somebody's life. Simply being in the vicinity of a person who dies isn't good enough.

@SYnapse - I didn't say you could be held liable for a murder just for being in the vicinity of the murderer when it happened. I gave a specific example of people going to rob a shop and the security guard getting killed. As the robbery was a common endeavour the results can be pinned on all the participants.

Not in the UK at least. If I go into a shop to steal and my friend goes psycho and kills 20 people, I didn't murder them and no judge would say so.
