What determines how many builds you get?

In Autumn I had armies on two of my three home suppy centers. I took another supply center and moved my two armies out of the home SCs. Is it because I had them occupied in Autumn that I only got one build this winter?

I just wanted to double check: Can one move across the Gibraltar with an army? I.e. A North Africa - Spain? I'm pretty sure you can't, but it would be convenient :-D

Moderators out there? Public service calls

If there are any moderators out there with a quantum of time to spend on some poor disenfranchised few: as a result of the recent banning of a certain player we got automatically paused, but one of our number has been awol for a while and we are unlikely to see him again. We've all voted for a draw except for this guy - would it be possible to let the draw go through...

07:06 PM Austria: Now that the game is afoot, would you like an alliance against Austria?

(At this point I'm wondering what the heck is going on)

07:27 PM Me: How would that work?
07:32 PM Austria: Well I move to Rumania next turn, Russia and I attack Budapest, then you and I attack Trieste.

(Now I'm getting suspicious)

07:34 PM Me: Okay. Where are you going to attack Budapest from?
07:35 PM Austria: Rumania next spring.
07:46 PM Me: With the army that is currently in Bulgaria?
07:48 PM Austria: Rumania. eventually. This is all two turns ahead.

I think it must be either Russia or Turkey who is multi-ing with Austria. Here's the game:

Tirpitz, are you aware that you supported Trieste against your army in Venice? ie. attacking yourself unsuccessfully?

About that post about, it does look pretty incriminating. Hopefully a mod will be able to take a look.

Yeah I know. I meant to support myself.

I also in another game sent my fleets to the same place thinking that I could load up in one place and ended up fighting myself.

I just started on here like a week ago so still kind of figuring out how things work.

After a quick check I don't see a lot of evidence of a multi. I'll do some further investigation, but don't expect any bans at this point.

Yeah I went and checked too he might just be playing a bunch of different games and got mixed up. The conversation was pretty weird though.

Well that same game just kicked a multi out, so its understandable for Tirpitz to be a little suspicious. Even without the moderator's extra info, Multis are usually easy to spot, and this guy doesn't seem to be one.

That's a very strange conversation... It seems he thinks he's Turkey... he is in one other game where he's Turkey... but still... strange mistake. He doesn't appear to be multi accounting though.

Why oh why are active games discussed in the forum? It is strictly forbidden on another side where I play and is also frowned on rec.games diplomacy.

Well, until someone (admittedly I could sort it out myself) adds personal messaging this will be the best way to do it.
Once that happens I agree this should be banned unless explicitly allowed by the game, and any complaints sent directly to 'modorator'. Still, until then...

It has come to my attention that I have been multi-accounting under the aliases of: 'Blackheath Wanderer', 'Hat-trick' and 'Tup'

/unpause notification in global

In a game where a player issued the /unpause command there is then a black bolded set of lines that says XYZ has to unpause to get it going. When another player hits /unpause I do not always see the update. How come, is this a bug or what?

Hey I just made an account and it won't let me join any games. It says I don't have enough like coins or something. It shows a picture of a D and a circle around it and this weird looking coin is in the color green. What is that coin thing and how do I get it so that I can play some games?

Hi in Betanin,
Everyone has unpaused except for Blackheath Wanderer. Seeing as he's afk in almost all his other games, and he's recognized himself as a metagamer, anychance one of the admin can unpause the game for us? or at least put him in civil disorder so we can get another player?

Q for Moderators

The game D'oh (http://phpdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=6167) was paused when Hat-trick was removed. Two players have missed the last turn, one of them the last two. When will they also go into civil disorder now that the game is paused, or when will it be unpaused if they don't vote for it?

I just ran into the worse multi-accounter ever

In the game Edinbough Festival http://www.phpdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=5843. I encountered a supposed multi accounter who ganged up on me as Italy and England but not only failed to kill me, I crippled both of them.
