Seems way unbalanced... looks at those solo stats for Germany (as much as France, Austria, and England combined), although I guess that also comes with having the least draws.

@sh@dow, those stats are flash based, and interact poorly with the code encasing them. Specifically they would not work with mobile devices. Introducing flash based features also introduces security problems. So while we do want to eventually make a stats page, we cannot pull the vdip one.

I am certain that if someone were to analyze bo's game performance or GR as a function of time, there would be a rather substantial dip after he became a mod (this is known as the "mod curse," which fortunately for ATC does not extend to developers).

So, the question really is "Is the mod curse permanent or is there some sort of natural decay?"

1. I honestly believe it's the closest one can get to gambling in diplomacy - this map.
2. Why go in circle? Every province is connected to every province, right? So there is no reason for which to go in Circle. You know... It might sound a bit like Wargames, with the whole not losing by not playing or whatnot, but isn't the optimal strategy here to hold? : D

Of course, if you hold indefinitely you'd lose to those who get lucky, but I think that if you treat the utility function of SCs as linear it might be that it is at any point logical to hold rather than risk

Well, there might be a fix. If you retire and rejoin as a mod over and over, the curse might just become really confuse and just leave you alone. Otherwise, I can't explain how abge seems to be doing pretty well for an ex-mod. :)

How to get a random country ?

I have 6 games right now on this site, with France (3), Italy (2) and austria (1). Just stepped out of 2 other games simply because i got every time France. There was no preselection. It is simply getting boring.

I am having a slight problem with an ally. Please help me explain a rule about supports.

If a unit is attacked, REGARDLESS if they have any sort of support hold, they may not perform any sort of support themselves.
