Was Jesus a Vampire?
I was curious, if Jesus was a vampire, like most scholars now assume; was he malkavian, ventrue, brujah, toreador, nosferatu or tremere?

Hey guys
I am redhouse, I used to play and debate here. I might play and debate again. But I have another question: Who knows a lot about C++? I may have some questions that seem trivial to those who know.

How does muting work?
I've never muted someone in a game before. Therefore, I am quite ignorant about how it works. Clearly if player A is muted by player B, B won't receive any messages from A while they're muted. What happens when B unmutes A? Do all the messages A sent to B while B had A muted suddenly appear, or are they lost forever?

New game Classic
Just went to a FTF tourney. Was fun. Want to play some more classic using the standard tourney rules (except of course 1 Day turns instead of 12 minutes).

Set it at 101d to filter for more reliable players. If that's too steep but you like the rest, chime in here, and I will make a new one with lower bet.

Someone shoulda told Trump that before he registered eight companies in Saudi Arabia during the presidential campaign.

You have fuck-all for an Iran plan, Trump has fuck-all for an Iran plan, and if Trump backs out of the current Iran deal he'll be accelerating towards either war with Iran or a nuclear Iran.

@ ND . I understand and appauld you satnding your ground with your belief in Trump.
BUT @Vashta: The countries with restrictions are terror prone regions Vashta

I dont understand didnt 9/11 happen in the US and any other attacks on US soil would make the US a terror prone country.. So you have to kick all people out of the US ??

Also there have been over 27 mass shootings in the US ( surprisingly not all by muslims or the seven nationalities involved in the alians debate) over 30 people killed . And thats just Januaury 2017..It seems that it happens so frequently that unless someone can attach a minority group to blameit is simply accepted as a normal risk ..

It blows my mind ...

orathaic (1009 D(B))
30 Jan 17 UTC
Saudia Arabia, not a terrorist country because you've depended in them for oil and supplied them with weapons since 1974.

Osama Bin Laden and a majority of those who died crashing planes into American Buildings on 9/11 weren't State actors, right? But then there aren't many known state actors committing acts of terror, except perhaps the CIA.

If I understand this correctly, this is NOT a permanent ban, just temporarily till a vetting process can be established. Umm, what's wrong with that? May have been implemented poorly, but the point remains, what's wrong with it?
Condescension (10 D)
30 Jan 17 UTC
(+1)
What's wrong with it is that people who have lived in America for years or decades are being prevented from continuing to work or seeing their families.

There are researchers at MIT who are not being allowed back into the country.

Also, the vetting process for green cards from these countries is already intense. They have already been vetted.

I guess you can blame everything bad on "poor implementation" if you feel like moving the goalpost, though.
ssorenn (0 DX)
30 Jan 17 UTC
No, the vetting process has been terrible. There are 1.3-15 billion muslims in the world and although most are peaceful somewhere from 15-25%of them are radicalized and want the destruction of western world. That's a whomping 200-350 million that are radicalized. That's more that the population of the US alone.
They will make special betting for the people who deserve to be here. The others. Can say I'm find fault here till they get vetted. I want that process to be much more strict.
If you are dumb enough to think that terror isn't already within our borders and something catastrophic isn't being planned here, you are as dumb as a box of rocks.

do you realize, ssorenn, that the refugee vetting process is already 2 years long? and what on earth makes you think this is temporary? yes the order says it is temporary, but this is exactly how horrible practices get normalized. see: the patriot act.
Jamiet99uk (1307 D)

ssorenn (0 DX)
30 Jan 17 UTC
From a practicality standpoint. The process need to move more swiftly. It just needs to be tougher. If they can't streamline this to a point where it's effective then a new process or precessors need to be found. Dragging feet should not be accepted. That goes back to the poor implementation

i read something interesting recently that really made me think -- paraphrasing here, but if you ever wondered what you would do in Spain in 1933, Germany in 1937, or Chile in 1973, all you have to do is look at what you are doing right now.
Apathy is incredibly destructive.

You U.K. People. Funny. Talk a lot. Illegal immigrants is horrible here. Sorry. I want my tax dollars to go for the good of the people who rightfully belong in my country. Sorry if that's a hard lined ideal. The cost associated with undocumented people is huge it taxes the economies of many states. But you U.K. People don't --oh you did realize it. Brexit---yeah that was it.
