Country selection by player
In tournament style games I've read about you pick your country before the game starts based on a selection order. It would be nice to implement the feature on here for locked games.

How do you "leave" a game?
I've seen different games where it says "Left" on the player's line. I don't see where you can click that - there's a Pause / Cancel / Draw option, but no "Leave the game" option.

Can anyone tell me how this works?

Unpausing Games
Sorry, for the question (I'm new here), but how do you unpause games? We've all voted to pause, but when we try to vote to unpause it doesn't appear to register anyone's vote. Thanks for your help!

Favourite karaoke song
What song you like to pick the most?

My current favourite is Mambo 5 from Lou Bega. Perfect for shitty singers like me, got decent rhythm so one can pull out some moves and you can substitute the generic girls' names with whatever you wish. Also, the trumpet!

The key is to pick a song that people are likely to sing along to so that your mediocre singing is drowned out. I go with either Wonderwall or Drops of Jupiter, depending on the audience. Or, if that's not going to happen, One Headlight because I can nail that song.

Mack the Knife is a good one, but you better have some pipes to belt out the last few verses, or be drunk enough not to care.

Sweet dreams by eurythmics, but sang like marlyn manson's version. Those who know the manson version love it (and its easy to sing - deep voice, not much range, I can pull it off after a few Irish car bombs, which is the only time I'm singing kareoke), and those who only know the eurythmics version think I'm a creepy drunk guy ... Win-win!

I have only done karaoke once. I went with Shiny Happy People by REM and Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. This was mostly because my sister and her friend (who were the karaoke enthusiasts that I had wound up joining for the night) offered to sing the backup vocal parts on those songs. That, and how much fun both of those songs are to sing.

Nope no karoke singing hre, but I have a co-worker who can nail Bad Romance. He gets all the chicks numbers with it.
I've sung karaoke many times, but never repeated a song selection.

How are you doing Heaven already on karaoke? It seems to me there's usually like a five year lag between what's current and what's on the karaoke books.

@Draug You do actually like new music less as you get older.
Draugnar (0 DX)
19 Mar 13 UTC
Not completely true. I love plenty of new music. Staind is one of my favorite groups, for instance. And Marilyn Mason's Sweet Dreams is simply the better version over the Eurythmics. I just don't care for that song. It's boring. I listened to the whole thing and there was nothing very interesting in it at all.
Celticfox (100 D(B))
19 Mar 13 UTC
Oh wasn't my recommendation was just posting it for you to hear. And yeah Marilyn Manson's cover is much better. Just like Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt was better then the Nine Inch Nails version.
Haha, Marilyn Manson's cover of Sweet Dreams (1995) isn't exactly new music...
Draugnar (0 DX)
19 Mar 13 UTC
True, THM, but way newer than the more than a decade earlier Eurythmics. And I really loved Staind's Illusion of Progress from 2008 (only 5 years old). Of course, I also love Mozart (250 year old music) and other stuff. I just find QotSA boring.

most songs old or new are available for karaoke in youtube. just search for the name of the song you want with the word karaoke next to it.
Ah, I meant in terms of having a KJ pull it up on request at a karaoke bar. That's what I'm used to, going through songbooks organized by title or artist (one time they actually had it on touchscreens, much slicker) and writing down your request on a little slip of paper to get in queue.

Cocaine Blues and Folsom County Blues are good Johnny Cash songs.

And liking new music... I like lots of new music (that Killer Mike stuff the other day was pretty good shit, and he was on Letterman last night). As long as it is interesting and original, I will give it a try. But derivative and boring doesn't work for me. Generally speaking, I'll try anything except gangsta rap and pop-country. Some I like, some I don't. But it is usually the original and exciting stuff, I get into until I've heard it enough I am looking for something new. That's why I like my SiriusXM radio in the car as well as all the streaming services like Pandora and Slacker.

Games where people have left
I think it would be a good idea for the password to be removed for when someone has left a game and will make it easier for someone to take over a game. Additionally since the new person is at a disadvantage not knowing the situation they take over a reduced fee for entry. It is very frustrating when people leave a game or NMR so making it more viable for players to take over will keep games going rather than the players next to that country taking advantage like vultures which ruins the game.

Emancipation of the ugly person
Women, colored people, handicapped people have all been emancipated over the ages. But in Holland, the person who's presenting the 8 o'clock news (a very good looking young woman (Sascha de Boer)) is about to be replaced by another very good looking young woman (Eva Jinek). Isn't it time for someone ugly?

Dragon's Dogma & Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch PS3 Games
If you are RPG gamers, you need to get these two games. If you need some games to play, you need to get these two games. They are excellent games. My Dragon's Dogma's pawn is Katarina (sorcerer). It would be awesome if there are people from webdip who can use her and upgrade her equipment. If you have an awesome pawn, post your name/id here and I will look into it.
