Country selection by player
In tournament style games I've read about you pick your country before the game starts based on a selection order. It would be nice to implement the feature on here for locked games.

How do you "leave" a game?
I've seen different games where it says "Left" on the player's line. I don't see where you can click that - there's a Pause / Cancel / Draw option, but no "Leave the game" option.

Can anyone tell me how this works?

A Game in Different Kinds of Speak?
Anyone interested in holding a game where each nation has a different form of English to "speak with?"

Ex. One nation could use Middle English, one Elizabethan-era/Early Modern English, one Text/Meme Speak, one American South-style English, etc...

Dorne never joined for Lannister, Dorne hates the Lannisters with a passion (The lannisters raped and killed Elia Martel 15 years ago, Dorne has never forgiven the Lannisters for this, and probably never will), they declared for Renly and then when Tyrion married Myrcella to one of Martells children, Dorne became neutral where they remained for the rest of the war of 5 kings.

The Reach declared for Renly, but Tywin convinced Mace Tyrell to declare for Joffery when Renly died, but had Stannis taken Kings Landing then the Reach would have probably remained neutral. (Mace wanted to remain neutral in the war but declared for Renly because his son Loras begged him too, and then declared for Joffery when Tywin promised Mace that Joffery would marry Mace's daughter, with Joff dead, Mace has nothing to gain in joining the war)

Mace would have had nothing to gain out of a war with any of them and so would have chosen to remain neutral.

Then SEMI-SPOILER ALERT (I say semi because its not so much of a surprise) a few years later we would have a Targaryen land, Dorne would declare for the Targaryens and would probably win the war.

In any case, with Kingslanding gone, Tywin would have less motivation to fight, and Robb may be able to negotiate peace. That was his plan.

"Fasces, this brings us back to my point from before. The marriage was the dumbest thing he could have done. How would you argue otherwise?"
I don't...

"If Robb wanted to marry Sansa off in a match that brought swords, Garlan Tyrell or Quentyn Martell were better candidates."
Actualy I didn't think of that, if you've read book 5 you would no why Quentyn Martel wouldn't make a good match, but Garlan Tyrell marrying Sansa Stark would probably have brought the Reach to ally with the north, or at least force them to declare neutrality.

"The multiplayer challenge, that's not even fair really because of you know my strategy already and their is no "Fog of War" between the Lannister's forces."
Scouts and Ravens, nuff said.

"No, the reason Robb marched south was Robb wants revenge for his father. "
Double check your time line Robb marched south BEFORE Eddard was dead. Robb found out about Eddards death after capturing the King Slayer.

Oh, Tyrion promised the betrothal of Prince Trystane Martell to Princess Myrcella goes horribly wrong too? (what doesn't in this crapsack universe?)
If Robb was going to forego marrying Roslin Frey, marry Margaery Tyrell.

"with Kingslanding gone" ...what does that mean exactly? Does dragons burn the city down?
airborne (154 D)

He wanted revenge for Eddard being arrested and accused of treason which Robb, reasonably enough believed was false and wanted to get revenge and save his father. Which is why he needed the alliance with the Freys with the hopes of passing the Twins in time to get to Ned. Robb then goes and helps the Tullys who were under siege by the Lannisters.
@Fasces: Yes, but I wasn't mentioning Book 5 on purpose. I'm just saying if you were Robb as of HBO Season Two and had in mind the idea of marrying Sansa to another House to raise swords, House Arryn would not make sense. Tyrell and Martell (as far as Robb would know) would.

See, yet more support for my recurring theme of Tullys screwing everything up. Renly dies and the Tyrell host is now up for grabs. Littlefinger is a badass and secures the Joffrey/Margaery match. Catelyn is right there, but she gets blamed for killing Renly. If you want it done right, don't send a Tully.

"If Robb was going to forego marrying Roslin Frey, marry Margaery Tyrell. "
Robb agreed to marry Frey because he needed to cross the twins. After that honour compelled him to marry her.

In the books (I emphasize the books), Robb is critically wounded in the battle of the Crag, Jeyne Westerling nurtures him back to health and Robb falls in love with her.

He chose love over honour, he didn't think marrying her was a good idea, he married her because he loved her.

""with Kingslanding gone" ...what does that mean exactly? Does dragons burn the city down?"
By that I mean when Stannis sacks kings landing, the lannisters no longer have it under their control with kingslanding gone was meant as it gone over to Stannis. Dany's dragons haven't lit fire to Kings Landing... YET!

That was just me being sarcastic about Margaery, I never expect that to work (through if it did happen that really would of been game over for the Lannisters)

I can't be too hard on Robb for his marriage, he was 16, stupid but hey, cut him some slack for that.

Well, he lost is virginity to Jeyne, so its not like he had anything to compare with, it might have been more lust then love, so yeah, can't be too hard on him.

That's just speculation re Robb's virginity. You know nothing, Fasces Snow.

Maybe it was Sansa, Targaryen-style (Bran used to spy on Robb & Sansa). Or Theon (Greyjoys being famous for their skills at archery, navigation, and lovemaking). Or Old Nan ("Oh, my sweet summer child, what do you know about fear?"). Or... HODOR.

I read the books a while ago, so I can't really remember but I'm pretty sure it was mentioned somewhere...
Actually, Richard Madden had discretion on how he wanted to play Robb on that issue because it wasn't in the books.

"Insider: Speaking of connections, doesn't Robb finally meet a woman this season?
Richard: Yea! And it's something that Robb hasn't experienced yet. And that's quite exciting to me as an actor – making those decisions that aren’t exactly in the book.
Insider: Like what?
Richard: Deciding if Robb is a virgin or not. I had to make a lot of choices in my head and figure out what happened when he was younger. I think it's a given that Theon has been up to all sorts of things at Winterfell – so it's just figuring out where Jon's been and where Robb's been when it comes to that. I think Robb is a very good man, with a deep sense of honor. I love Robb a lot because everything is a first for him. And those are the most exciting experiences. That's what makes for good watching. This is the first time he meets a woman – and it happens at a point when he's really feeling distance from everything else. He's out there, alone, doesn't know if his mother has his back. There are disagreements with his men over killing prisoners; he doesn't want to go down that route, but he's being pushed to it. So he finds this escape in this woman who doesn't see him as a king; they immediately connect as people and that's the most realistic thing he's had. And it's important to have this presence in his life that pushes him and challenges him on everything – she makes Robb think about the longterm results of his actions. "If you kill Joffrey, then what?" It makes him realize he hasn’t thought that far ahead. At the same time, there are lots of feelings.
Insider: So ... was Robb a virgin?
Richard: [whispers] Yes."
This does give a good insight into the character, even though this is the actor not the character speaking in terms of why he fell in love so easily and how he was willing to do it even at the risk of losing the war.

Games where people have left
I think it would be a good idea for the password to be removed for when someone has left a game and will make it easier for someone to take over a game. Additionally since the new person is at a disadvantage not knowing the situation they take over a reduced fee for entry. It is very frustrating when people leave a game or NMR so making it more viable for players to take over will keep games going rather than the players next to that country taking advantage like vultures which ruins the game.

Emancipation of the ugly person
Women, colored people, handicapped people have all been emancipated over the ages. But in Holland, the person who's presenting the 8 o'clock news (a very good looking young woman (Sascha de Boer)) is about to be replaced by another very good looking young woman (Eva Jinek). Isn't it time for someone ugly?
