I had MAO to Spain SC with Gas support. Turkey had West Med to Spain with no support. no one broke Gas support. MAO should have taken Spain SC! gameID=106225

Thank you bo_sox48. Finally I've heard a comment on this subject from some one who apparently knows something of the truth on this matter. I am so sick of people stating lies about the Mayan calender and using it to promote their narrow minded agendas. It's refreshing to know that at least one person has actually studied it.
Well I mean, the concept behind it is clearly ridiculous, but as a cultural phenomenon it's fun to observe. The truth is 0.01% of people think it's real, the rest of us are just enjoying a unique sort of "holiday". Just like when that dude predicted rapture, except way cooler than that because it's not just one fat white guy saying it.
C-K, it's because someone was too afraid to put their name out there so they looked for something that could - in an idiot's mind - be something significant. They found the end of the Mayan calendar was coming up and said "let's call this the end of the world even though the culture itself would vehemently deny the claims, further desecrating a once-great empire." It's probably more likely that excessive light pollution will lead to the end of the world than a rogue planet crashing into us. I'd say we should be worried about something like supervolcanoes or nuclear suicide than anything else.
Last I remember hearing, the Mayan calendar didn't account for leap years (for obvious reasons) so the end of the world was actually quite a while ago.
@The2ndman They didn't have to account for leap years because their calendar was actually more accurate than ours. It's not based on dates but on galactic alliances. They predicted the 26,000 year event of the alignment of the Earth, Sun and center of the Galaxy perfectly and yet we can't explain how. How did they know this? How could they have imagined this? There are many things that this culture achieved that is beyond us yet so many of us attempt to belittle them. When we we realize that we were once greater than we are now and that we've lost our way. When will we celebrate the events that matter for the real reason that they are important?
Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. That day has always been celebrated in the northern word as it's the first day that the sun visibly rises. Meaning that the days will get longer and life will come anew. The Devil has used his prophets to steal the truth from us as he has done with the Mayan deception.

Generally to the mod/admin .. is there any specific reason other than general humility that there is no public record of banned players? Whenever I'm looking for games to join through a CD, some of the best games are from banned players, and if there were a way to find a newly banned player without hearing about it or seeing it would probably salvage a lot of wrecked games.

In LotR: Fellowship, at the Counsel of Elrond, Frodo takes the responsibility of bearing the Ring. In rewatching the film this past weekend, I got the distinct impression this may have been due to the Ring already "poisoning" Frodo a little bit so that he was the Ring's choice of bearer. When I checked the book, it doesn't read like that explicitly, but I think that interpretation may still exist. Thoughts?
Hey, I tried to get an epic world game together called: gameID=106273. I've only got three guys up for it. I was wondering either if you'd like to join that game or could give me suggestions of a new game I could make that you would be happy to join. Bear in mind it has to be world and with a pot size of a minimum of 1700 , ppsc, phase length of at least one day, to start after Christmas. Besides that I'm not bothered. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This could be really epic.

Austria has a fleet in Greece and a fleet in the Aegean, and uses Greece s. Aegean -> Ionian. Italy has a fleet in the Ionian, and an army in Naples, and uses Ionian to convoy Naples -> Greece. What's the end result of this set of moves?
