Fact: There is a local convenient store chain, Stewart's (located in upstate New York and Vermont), that sells Eggnog all year long. And I do agree it is among the most amazing substances in existence, second only to Mt. Dew, the Nectar of the Gods.

In college my friends and I had a tradition of playing eggnog pong on the Saturday that winter break started. Highly recommended as an endurance challenge. Most people had left campus already so there was little point in going out, and the misery of going through just one or two games meant you wouldn't get too drunk and therefore wouldn't be hungover the next day. That way you could leave earlier on Sunday.

If course there is. When you buy it in the grocer's dairy case by the milk, there is no alcohol in that.

Depending on how big the glass, I mix 2-3 ounces of egg nog with 6-9 ounces of organic unsweetened soy or almond milk. Keeps the carbs reasonable and still tastes great.

Believe me, it is. Try chugging roughly 12oz of eggnog sometime and see how you feel.

12 oumces of eggnog is more carbs, sugar, and fat than a normal person should consume in an entire meal (and that would be a very unhealthy meal at that) and more than a diabetic should consume in a day. Oh my God the tummy ache!
