Nobody's saying pull Smith. The Giants just had his number all day. It happens.
- It has turned into a surprisingly good race in the West. All 4 teams are contenders. I have to admit the teams I'm rooting for are Seattle and the Rams (with Legatron), even though neither will likely make it into the playoffs.
- The Patriots are not on their way down. Yeah, their D sucks, but it always has, and their offense is just as good as ever. Bill is having some odd issues with managing the game though lately. Hopefully it will sort itself out.
-The Raiders should have won yesterday. It would've been nice to have no undefeated teams.
-I'd rather give RGIII the wildcard than the Iggles. I'm looking forward to next week's game
- Long term, they're saying he'll be just as good as Payton, so I'd like to watch him over the next few years
- Its only a rivalry if you make it one. I think our rivalries with the Eagles, Cowboys, and Patriots will still take primacy (the Patriots rivalry is my favorite one)
- I think the only thing keeping them back is that Sanchez isn't professional enough to be okay with being benched (for a good example, see A-Rod). He'll throw a fit and try to jump ship if it happens, methinks, even though it may a better move for the team
- It is, but not so much as the NFC West at this point.
And no, Smith is not the Eli Manning of 3 years ago. 1) He doesn't throw off his back foot. 2) He has a fantastic running game to support him and 3) no ring.
But the teams that I enjoy watching most this year (and hope get into the playoffs) are the Rams, Bengals, Seahawks, Redskins, and Vikings. All of them have a shot, but most likely won't get in :(
