Although we had a lot a little punks that left the game as soon as things got hard I must say that I found the end very fun. Sargmacher played his hand wonderfully. He and I were at each other early in the game but we understood what was happening and reacted. At first I had no direction but when Russia was definitely screwed and France was being attacked by Italy I knew that I had to attack England.

When Russia left early I kept my eye on Austria. I knew that when he capitalized on that that I would be next. I thought I timed it well.
France hitting me hurt but it was understandable. At this point I'm thinking how can I reach the end. I know I can't win so a draw is my best option.
England is a good player. I think I have him at the beginning but Russia leaving means that I have to change plans. I cant go all out against him but I must keep him honest.
I can gain thid turn but I won't. I'll need England before this is over. Trying to withdraw from a war in a gunboat is always difficult but we managed it. Hats of to Sargmacher for seeing the game beyond the moment.

Zmaj you were trying to capitalize on game situations. You should have ended the game early on. To win like that means nothing. I took special pleasure in stopping you anyway.

That's very true actually. Especially if someone is struggling to play because they have too many games, why not just draw the game honourably because the only reason you are winning is all your neighbours leaving...
