FD: you are wrong. if i bounce him before and he stays in picardy, he could have protected brest from picardy, because he know I will take belgium. The point was, to make that unit move away from picardy, so brest must be covered from MAO.

France made the right call this time, but when you see moves like mine, which is letting somebody in, there's always a reason. Never call is a mistake, try to figure out what was the reason for it.

When a player has almost equal choices, when you look back and see, well he could have reached the same result in a different way, then try to figure out why did he chose the specific way to reach his goal. Then you will understand how that player thinks and project future moves of his.

Looking for a solid Turkey position replacement!

Well, I created the game, I let Sandgoose in and I played Turkey as his sitter for one unfinished turn. I volunteer for the position if it's okay with you guys.

For me it's perfect, I already wanted to tell the others how great it would be, since you are already familiar with the game. Also, the german/turkish alliance worked soooo freakin' perfect, I don't want to risk losing it with a new guy :)

A crucial element in any Diplomacy game, no matter how large your nation is, is to obtain some kind of definition for the Diplomacy equivalent of "national interest". Which nations strengths are positively or negatively correlated with yours? Which nations can and/or will sustain their agreements with you, and why? Which provinces are crucial to your survival?
Such an analysis must be made for all seven nations on the board and from these analyses, the path of your nation is charted.
