I think official support for gunboat and public press, and a buttload of new phase lengths from 5 minutes to 10 days.

@Thucydides: thanks. Wow no one dethroned Madmarx yet? Lol yea I went back a page on the forums and saw a star next to one of the threads and I was surprised since I havent logged on in so long. Turns out it was the "last person to post wins a cookie" thread.

@Draugner: yeeeeeaaaa I saw that when I made a new game. It's awesome, but I think I'll stick to phase lengths that are multiples of 12 hours.

So any new interesting hackers/mass multi accounters/homicides on this site?

No there haven't, although I'm sure you're about to be told about a whole load, where forum hyperbole has blown things waay out of proportion.

You're forgetting the biggest multi account event of all time! It turned out that SmartJason was actually Agent K, MadMarx, TMW, obiwan, and EdiBirsan! He'd been fooling us all along! Kestas steeped in to try and knock down his sand castle, but the Obama administration jumped in because his multiaccounting was too big to let fail. We're now subsidized by the US Government, which is why we've been having so many problems with the servers recently.

How could you forget?

I have to agree with figle. There have been a few bannings, but nothing on the order of the group of schoolmates who meta'd and multi'd or the bearinstein or whatever his name was. Diplofool is still around as The_Master_Warrior, but he has mellowed somewhat. There is some discussion going on about a player who was banned. Came back. Cheated *again* as a meta, but only got warned and is now a top 20 player. Arguably he is very good, but some of us think he should be stripped of all his ill-gotten gains from when he meta'd on his return and that he should have been banned for life when he cheated upon returning. That's about it I think.
