Well I bought he DarkSideoftheMoon album and then after a couple of months of owning it I sat down and listened to it and then I was hooked now I own 10 or so albums. My favorite is Momentary lapse of reason and then I like Final Cut

I was at the concert at The Dome in Brighton when Floyd played Darkside for the first time. The tape sound system failed partway through Money so they never finished the tunes from what would become the album. They added an extra Brighton date at the end of the tour so we did get to hear the whole thing then. This concert was recorded and I now have a CD copy of what has become known as The Darkside Rehearsals.

I first saw Floyd when they were playing the Ummagumma set and when Soundtrack from More was current so sadly I never saw Syd with the band.

Wow lucky I wish I was old enough to have seen them in there heyday

A while ago I had te idea of playing a game where you could only use lyrics from pink Floyd to talk and the names of countries or nationalities, plays like juggernaut or leponto. example. " Germany what happened to our post war dream?" post war dream or " somebody scream juggernaut!!!" post war dream. The name of the song on the end if you're not familiar with it and can look up the lyrics

What it's made for right, like the Animals or Atom Heart Mother have songs up to or over 20 minutes good songs but probably better with pot

I simply love Pink Floyd. It's the only post-WWII music I can bear to listen to, actually.
