Germany likely joined the game, forgot about it, came back to find a "hopeless" situation and decided to just rollover and let France win.

Even more likely is that despite it being an anonymous game, your rude behaviour shines through and the rest of the players just decided to end their misery sooner rather than later, even if that meant losing 15 in a worthless game.
