I've come up with a great idea to revitalize the site and expand the fanbase.
It's called Webdip The Musical. It would be much more interesting than adding new maps or new features and might also allow people to rant about their political opinions in a way that's easier to ignore. I have contacted the mods and several have agreed to donate glitter.

Another potential idea is mafia the musical.

How do I fix the time desync for deadlines again?
I noticed a live game countdown (game failed to fire unfortunately) where I was a whole 30 seconds ahead of the game's phase deadlines. I remember there being a way to fix the desync but don't remember what it is. Anybody got me?

"Fog of War" rules?
Any reason "Fog of War" rules don't exist as a New Game option? You know, where you can see only the territories that border your units. So on the first round, England sees only as far as North Sea, Norwegian, English Channel, Irish Sea but does not see anything in France...

Trump breaks campaign promise to investigate Clinton
"Locking her up" was pretty central to Trump's campaign; two weeks after winning the election he's decided not to follow through. Are Trump supporters concerned about this? If not, why? And if he has already broken this promise (and others) then what faith do you have that he'll actually follow through on other promises?

I am not even slightly surprised. It's been a campaign based on eliminationist hate, and those folks have been talking about how Democrats aren't Americans, etc for years. Can't blame folks for being reluctant to have white supremacists around in the other direction. Some, I assume, are good people, but a substantial group are genuinely dangerous. Even if a small portion are armed and unhinged, it's hard to know how safe it is to have those people around, especially if you aren't white and straight.

That said, it is a pretty damned terrible state of affairs. One would have wished adults had had a bigger say, but having enabled and empowered the white nationalists the genie is out of the bottle and they're loving it. Pretty damned depressing

So wait, some people left a business voluntarily because staff were laughing about something political?

Your opening post is a little confused... I'd say there is room for businesses created solely to cater to disaffected minotiries (republicans in calironia, and democrats in texas, for example). Sounds like some sound business practice, unless you are an established business losing market shae...

BB -- isn't that exactly the behavior the political left has fostered in this country -- if you disagree with someone, you must banish them from your presence, and hurl insults are them? And now you seem to think this is a bad thing?

I guarantee if this were a different thread you would be praising the staff of a certain entertainment business that choose to single out a customer for public insult.
krellin (80 DX)

Ogion - you are a ridiculous, hatefilled extremist, I assume.

It's hillarious that all of the low-intelleginet assclown on the left suddenly think that Conservatives are sudenly going to start gunning people down, even though there is NO EVIDENCE THIS HAS OR WILL HAPPEN.
But hey....I get it....your media handlers have informed you to shut off your fucking brain and pretend to be scared and cause more hate and division in the country in order to, I assume, accomlish some poltiical objective? Which is weird...because the fucking nation just REPUDIATED assclowns like you in the last election...and not just in the White House, but in the Congress, in the overwhwlming majority of state Governorships and legislatures, and down through local elected offices.

Fucking moronl

I have never loved America more than right now. I recently emigrated from Poland, a country that under current government wants to ban abortion even in cases when the live of the woman carrying the child is at stakes, a country where a high-level government official says that "we should require all atheists, orthodox and muslims to fill out a declaration that they will respect catholic heritage of Poland, or otherwise deport them" and a country which actually had an official ceremony of enthronment of Jesus Christ as the King of Poland (that's all last week btw). I used to be so ashamed, felt so bad for my country which in just one year of the current government from a Euro-enthusiastic, well developing country went to straight rock bottom, with economy plummeting, all international relations basically broken and the society deeply divided.

But then I can look at America and I don't feel that bad any more. In our country "Trump" won as well, and the people who voted for him are still happy but objectively speaking the country has gone deepshit crazy. But that's a small central-european country that no-one gives a damn about. Now the same thing, if not much worse will happen to the biggest economy in the world, a country with a huge nuclear arsenal, a country with military bases all over the globe, a freaking member of the Security Council... (I could go on like this forever) The point is at least Poland will not be the laughing stock of Europe anymore, but I just wonder at what price.

Because of the internationally famous German sense of humour, no doubt.

But no, full marks to Poland for making Jesus the King (#HerodWasRight). Think of how much cash you can save if your head of state is an ethereal spirit. No need for palaces, no need for costly ceremonies when they die, no changing stamps and money designs, no more elections or any of that nonsense. Imagine how much better off the Yanks would be if their next President was the immortal soul of Elvis? The King is dead. Long live the King!

yassem (2533 D)
21 Nov 16 UTC

But this is absolutely unlawful! Contrary to a belief very popular in Poland Jesus Christ does/did not hold Polish citizenship, and it turns out that even neither of his parents were Polish. Furthermore, no-one sentenced guilty can become a government official. This whole thing is extremely fishy.

And honestly it is not even in the top 10 funniest things our government did this year.
