Hello, Diplomats. BlackJackP74 here again. I have a family that I think would enjoy this wonderful game that we enjoy. We number 4, including me. I have in mind the South American map from VDip. The only question is: how do I introduce them to the game without them losing interest?
[Update] Help me build a cheap PC for my media centre
So, I finally made a decision and purchased a slightly used Intel NUC. It has a 1.8 GHz i3 processor, 128GB SSD and 3GB RAM. It's a cute little box that hides nicely in the living room. I just watched an HD movie (Sicario) and the computer had no issue transcoding it. The fan wasn't audible over the speakers and I'm thinking it's a pretty good solution for anyone going that route.
Do we have a facebook page? I found one that looks like it hasn't been touched since 2012. Then I see a bunch called Webdip that look like they are locked.
After many years of fantastic service to this site and its community, TheMinisterOfWar has stepped down as a moderator. I'd like to thank him for all the hard work he's put in both on the moderation side, and on the driving this site forward. His work in the background has helped make this site a better place for everyone, and I look forward to hopefully being able to go to the Netherlands and meet him again at one of the Dutch FTF tournaments this year.

Might be jumping the gun on this but, any webdippers planning on attending this event? Never been to a f2f tournament myself but this seems like a good enough place to start.
I don't really see that -- he was happy to leave her to it when he wanted to go to the Outer Rim. If anything, Rey was the one caring and protecting Finn; Finn is not a love intetest for Rey.

Not sure why you're so against it's possibility. I'm not pulling at any straws; you're clearly desperate to not admit that as ST main charactery be gay. Strange.
So was Kylo being Jar Jar. There are hundreds of theories out there, that doesn't mean any of them are true.
All I have said is that the evidence points to Finn and Rey. Maybe Poe has a thing for Finn, but that is all that is supportable.
All I'm here for is to crush that? No. I'm trying to be realistic. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so anything possible I will probably comment on, haha. I'm just saying what I think. Which, unless I'm mistaken, is exactly what you're doing.

Poe was about as miserably underutilized as a typical Hollywood romantic interest, though. I guess that's what happens when he's offscreen and presumed dead for a solid 90 minutes.
I'm surprised anyone thinks Rey is intetested in Finn; I didn't see any sign she finds him attractive in the film. She's much more capable than him; she protects him and cares for his well-being, but it seems he's not even attractive to her in an endearing sense.
I haven't seen much indication that Rey is into Finn, but Finn seems much more into Rey. To be sure, the two defy the typical stereotypes of their sexes as Rey saves Finn much more often. It reminds me of Han and Leia a lot, although Rey is even more competent than Leia.
Really guys? If anything it seemed as if she was more interested in him than the other way around. I still wouldn't read anything but friendship into that relationship but I think you can easily tell that she cares about him a fuck ton.
None of the ships are that romantic in the movie--everyone's good friends and that's it. Literally the only thing deviating from that pattern is Oscar playing his 'bro' lines to the hilt, putting Tumblr all in a tizzy. (Unless I'm misremembering the dialogue in Maz's pub where Finn and Rey each ask the other to come/stay with them.)
As for who cares for who, of course Rey cares a lot about Finn, but you can't seriously argue the converse isn't also true when Finn literally lies his way onto Starkilller Base just to go find Rey.
I would like to make a non-drivel Forum post in honor of our Mods-Admins. We should thank them for a great 2015 and have a Webdip community driven award for one of them.
