The subtitles were a little off.

And it was majorly bad ass.

I know, the subtitles suck, but the film is awesomely made nevertheless. I love how it pretends to be targeting foreigners but in fact is clearly meant to brainwash Russian people (even further).

The subtitles made it sound much more aggressive. Specifically at the end.

Well, I understand much of it in Russian, and it's still aggressive af. But yeah, the language itself is pretty cool, like a much easier version of Polish.
But anyway, yeah. Poor Russians, right? All they were trying to do as USSR was bring joy and prosperity and their neighbors didn't appreciate that at all, those ungrateful capitalist swines.

Specifically I was talking about the ending, where the "Russian occupier (invader)" signs off. The subtitles say "your" Russian occupier (to use their language), which makes it sound like the Russians are invading *you*. But that isn't correct. It should be "Sincerely, the (implied) Russian occupier." Much less aggressive towards the US.

Although I deplore their methods most of the time, I will say one thing about the Russians: They know how to get shit done and they don't fuck around neither. The AK-47? It's not pretty but it gets shit done. The conquest of Berlin? No fucking around there. Why does the West feel the need to keep antagonizing Russia? Hell, I'd reach across the aisle, shake hands, and turn our collective attention to bigger problems.

@SantaClausowitz, actually USA could try to do a bit like this that could actually be based on the truth - Marshall Plan for example (and not that much after that, but nevertheless, all we had (Eastern Europe) was Comecon and that basically meant giving up all you economical sovereignty in exchange for a random military intervention/crisis every now and then. You wanna compare the effect being in american and soviet SOIs take a look at demographic and economic comparisons of West vs East Germany.
