Strange orders
Hi,

Has anyone else noticed that the orders you've put in the past week, are often not what happens?

That's because you changed them this week.

Just kidding. It's Screw-you-Sunday in Australia today.
steephie22 (182 D(S))

Anyway, the real answer is that a mod would happily look into it, but it's extremely likely that you messed up. A common mistake is that you scroll an order box after you entered orders.

It's also possible that you first selected where you supported from and then where you're supporting to, while you first have to select where you're supporting to and then select from where you're supporting.

Also, if you save order changes and navigate somewhere else before the page finished loading the changes, you might not have actually sent changes.

Or, if you enter orders, but don't hit save, then send some press- your draft orders are forgotten.

Someone else is logging onto your account and changing them ;)
WebDipDummy: don't be a dummy! Post on the forum on your other account! ;-)

Wait a minute... Why do we have webDipDummy accounts?
Ogion (3882 D)

Well, actually, yes, I've had repeated orders that I double check not pan out. I"m in serious trouble in some of these. I think it's the iPhone, so I'm 100% on laptop as well.

Trouble is, there is zero way to test whether what shows in the interface is what gets sent to the server, only whether the orders the server thinks it got actually pan out.

So, is it World Cup distraction? iPhone bullshit? WebDip problems? Who knows, but I've had some total nonsensical order sets happen. Might as well NMR, frankly.

There are 7 accounts being controlled by two people each, steephie. It's for the team game and is sanctioned by the site administration.

Ah, didn't know it was for the team game.

could there maybe be a feature that sort of previews the moves you are about to enter?

SL, I got suspicious when my moves seemed like they didn't register a couple of times each game that I played with a certain other player. I even started taking screen shots of my orders and saving them so that if it happened again, I would have proof of a kind. So guess what? It happened again! But when I opened my screen shot, it turned out that I had turned in a different order than I remembered. My error.

I suspect that's usually the case.
Its not a problem on my end. I put the orders in, check them and tick ready. I can see clearly the orders and then some of them don't go how I put them in. Example is moving to Warsaw instead of Kiel with no other armies/fleets anywhere near it

southern lord,

If you feel like screen capturing your orders for the next little bit, if you notice it happens again go back to the screen capture. If the screen cap is different than the orders that went though it would give myself and the mod-team something to start with. As it stands we really cannot rule out human error.

I've made moves where I was sure I had put something else in when I finalized, but went back and found out that I'd actually fucked it up.
We'd be more than happy to try and fix it if there is a problem, but that's really the only way we can be certain there a problem on our end and not yours.

How often is this happening to you? It's a common occurrence please take some screenshots of your orders and if you notice the problem again send the screenshots to [email protected]

So, I was approaching this line-up at a convenience store or at least I thought I was...
...I guess the problem was I didn't know if I was going to the front or the back of the line because the clerk/owner was turned around on a stool...

So a girl isn't sure about 'breaking up' with a guy and I help her figure it out..
I think I've done it pretty much by the book, but I can't ignore the fact that there's quite a bias: I really like her, and I don't like him. So breaking up happens to be in my favour.
What I wonder is: does this make it wrong? At least consciously, the only thing I care about is helping her do the right thing, and there's definitely something 'cold' between them that wouldn't be there if they love eachother.. I'm pretty sure it would end at some point anyway..

Very minor bug
Very minor issue that probably doesn't affect many people. If you sign in to a banned account (I created an account in error near the beginning, forgetting that I already had one), there's no 'log out' button. I needed to clear the cookies in order to sign in with my real one. Not a big issue but figured it was worth mentioning.

Looking for a replacement player in the SoW game.
PM me if you're interested. Please do not post interest here since it's an anonymous game. Any player that is interested will do, but I place preference on those that have completed games and have not had a track record of CDs.
