He posts the same bullshit in every thread and it is always terrible. I haven't read the threads you describe and I doubt I will - I don't see a point.

I don't know if you've noticed but most threads on this website recently have nothing to do with this website, this game or even the type of stuff you'd find in normal everyday conversations. No Lando, you don't get it. If you're going to publicly attack someone for driving reasonable members away from the forum, you need to do that in the context of other *much worse* stuff that has been posted on the forum recently and is *much* more likely to drive people away.

Bo_sox is sometimes funny, and maybe sometimes you think he's not funny, but he's not the one posting about niggers or raping underage girls. If you want to talk about what's likely to drive people away from the forum, you can't ignore that stuff just because you find Bo's jokes irritating.

To comment on SantaClausowitz' post, I think Eden posts some very funny things. The difference though is that Eden posts funny stuff that doesn't depend on webdip for people to get it. You just need to follow real world stuff. Bo sox is epeating some inane inside joke that only a handful of people get.

The worst thing on this forum is the overuse of "memes." They serve no purpose. Never once has anyone who has posted "is he knew" "they eat people down there" or whatever the fuck useless waste of time phrases come across as anything other than purely retarded.

Ok, but for you to say that some unfunny jokes are the "single worst thing" about the forum, when other threads talk about much more offensive and off-putting things, suggests that either you need to reconsider your priorities, or you're blissfully oblivious to a lot of the stuff that happens on the forum.

I would also say that you're wrong about memes and inside jokes. Used in moderation, they're part of the sense of community that all good forums have.

I am not "wrong" about them. We disagree about them, neither of us are right or wrong. Jamie, it feels like you are arguing for the sake of arguing, which I don't particularily appreciate. I think we recognized our differences of opinions earlier in this thread, and perpetuating this argument is not helping anyone's forum experience.

@Steephie: mute doesn't work on blankflag because every day he creates a new account and joins the site with that account, not his previous one. This makes it impossible to actually mute him.

It doesn't work on bo_sox because there are too many posts. It actually causes the site to slow down cosniderably and the psots aren't hidden until a[pproximately 5-10 seconds after any given page load. The mute function quite simply does nto work.

I could care less about muting blankflag, the guy appears to have more sound opinions about pretty much everything than bo_sox, which is saying a lot.
