I haven't playe it yet that's my next agenda for the day. But Mr. CF was up all night on it.

I believe he said that instead of leveling up guns you level up a squad of soldiers. Not sure how that works atm or if that was done in a previous CoD.

I played Black Ops 2 a lot but I think we have all of them we can get for the systems we have.

A Squad? Oh...I wonder if this is like Splinter Cell? I play a version of that where you controlled a tactical squad, could jump between character,issue orders, etc. That would be cool...more complicated for if you get tired of point and shoot.

No like instead of load outs you chose a soldier and level them.

So you just have, say, a sniper, a machinegunner, submachine gunner, shotgunner, assault rifle dude, or however you wish the soldiers to be different, instead of just those loadouts, to choose from in multiplayer? Actually I was hoping for real squads, but that's not the case?

Also I think I'll ask it as a present in a month, or Battlefield 4...

I'd like to know what you/your husband think of it after enough playing, because I was rather disappointed in the last 3 CoDs and I wonder if I should get this one as a present or Battlefield lolz...

Also, are the soldiers in any way specialised? Do they all have their own class and just get extra guns in their class as they rank up or something?

I think the soldiers get some specializations from what I remember he said last night, but don't quote me since I was half asleep.

Nah, Cod sucks. Battlefield and Arma are the two FPS series I play.

I do prefer strategy games though, CKII remains my most played steam game. Civilization IV, CKII, VickyII and Skyrim are the games I've played the most.

CKII is pretty good indeed. Rome 2 is nice too though. And I do want a good shooter to fall back to every now and then, and MW2 doesn't cut it anymore and every CoD after that was worse IMO... Too bad I noticed the trend too late lolz, could have probably saved me 100 euro's if I would have noticed...

Well I do play Civ V often, but I play CoD cause that's what my husband plays. I don't care which shooter games I play. It's not the genre I like best.

No. I play good games. Medal of Honor, Splinter Cell, and to a much lesser extent Battlefield.

@Steephie We play CoD on our WiiU, but I play Civ V on my computer. We have 3 different computers in this house (2 are his, 1 is mine) . And no there's no account sharing at all, I just don't care to pick up other shooters games at 60 dollars a pop.

I did pick up the new Assassin's Creed game and I will pick up the new Batman game in a few weeks.

So can you have separate accounts on one copy of the game now or did you buy your own copy of Call of Duty: Ghosts? Just curious if they changed it or if I'm misunderstanding you.

On the Wii U you can set up different account names/. He has his account and I have mine. Just 1 copy of the game though.

Anyone play CS:GO? A million times better than CoD, requires teamwork, and not just running in and shooting. Also, arma3 is very promising, but my computer is too shit :(
