I had no idea what "The Last Word in Rhodesian" was, so I looked it up on Youtube. Now it's been stuck in my head for almost a week. Goddammit, why did such a horrible dictatorship have to produce such a terrifically catchy song?

I found that website by chance, but wow are John Edmond's and other Rhodesian songs catchy! I really like "Sandy" (# 11 in Rhodesia the Brave). It's also freaky how the songs keep on getting darker and darker, assuming that John Edmond's 'phases' go in chronological order. "Flesh and Bone Soldier" (#11 Phase IV) put my hair on end when I actually listened to the lyrics. It might be the most effective anti-war song I've ever heard.

No, the others suck. There's a partial exception for the "What a Time It Was" song, but I think it was more the tune in "The Last Word in Rhodesian" that I liked. Phew.
