I don't know the code well enough and don't "speak" PHP, so I don't know. But it woudl be a great tool in the mod arsenal for combating repeat multis whose sole purpose is to disrupt the forum worse than I or any of the other occasionally silenced trolls do.

Steephie, the idea is that he keeps coming back as multi after multi after multi causing more work for the mods. If we could just have him globally muted then he wouldn't know it and would post to his content but not keep creatign multi accounts the mods had to hunt down.

And how long do you think it would take before people start asking where's blankflag? Blankflag will know. I just don't think it will spare time, even if it works...

Maybe we could have a sort of "subverssive members" list where members added to it can see each others posts but the rest of us don't have to.

Thought appreciated, but fuck everything about this idea. If you don't like someone then mute them. If they're spamming the forum then silence them, if they refuse to stop then give them a longer silence. But I absolutely loathe the notion that anyone else can decide that I'd be better off not hearing someone against my own input.

it could even generate posts based on mashups of actual blankflag-like threads, with something approaching intelligence, if a state of the art algorithm can be implemented...

It might even be smarter than blankflag!

Perhaps we can build such a bot and test it with a variant of the turing test, where we have to figure out if the messages come from the bot of Blankie
