As the creator of the game, I'm glad it had gotten some attention when it began, though am sorry I did so poorly.
Austria:
'01: I got greedy by attacking Rumania for two builds, but had hoped that it sent a message of friendship to Turkey. Italy didn't seem to mind the hedgehog opening to Venice, so I set down a plan to smash into Russia. After his CD and Turkey's two new army builds, I knew that wasn't going to be the case.
'02: I lose Rumania, and Turkey picks up Bulgaria. Russia is already completely dead, and I start praying that Italy will turn around and help defend against a very strong Turk.
'03 - elim: Italy is fully committed in the west, and England is content to sit by in Moscow. Without any help, I put up the best defense I can, and catch a lucky break with a Turkish NMR, but am killed off in a couple years time.
Italy: I wish you'd been paying more attention to the A/T dynamics more in this game. I understand you'd been committed until '03, but once A/T really start fighting, Italy needs to either help prop up Austria, or snap up all the scraps he can.
Russia: Poor sportsmanship, CDing after just one year. Not that I expected you would've wanted to cooperate, but at least the fight in the east could've been drawn out longer, slowing down Turkey.
Turkey: Good fight. I'd been hoping my staying out of your way would've signaled that I wanted friendship, but after Russia left, your choice was obvious.
