"Anonymous" in big pot games...
People can figure out who is who too easily using log-on status. Maybe log-on status should be eliminated, or made optional to the players.

How to spot a cheater
Hi, is there any way to spot someone with a double account, and if you do where can you report it?
Also, is there a way to search the forum, because i'm probably not the first one to ask this question.

Full Disclosure Game
This is a preliminary search to find players that would be interested in playing in a "model" game (or several) in which the game would be played normally but at the end, everyone submits their press to me and I would format it in an easy-to-read document so that everyone could see the press throughout the game and the map pics to show how everyone's press influenced the game. Not sure as to when it would start, but I'm checking for interest.

Do I owe anyone else a game, other than redhouse1938?
Looks like I joined martinck1's Top 50 GR game two, so I might as well have a second game on the books. WTA, 48 hour phases, classic, full press, I'm thinking 114 point buy-in. If I owe you a game, please remind me, my memory is crap.

EOG Shut Up
Alright, was a 5 man draw (I put the draw up for italy mostly, but his build in Rome was the clue Ineeded, but to late to take it down) but was a strange game with some REALLY strange moves

And were france and england ever going to kiss and make up?

this was a REALLY bad game for me >.<. Here is my EOG

1901: This year has VERY strange openings on my side…. Russia moved into Armenia in Spring, while I did standard openings. He then moved to the Black Sea… but I managed to get Rumania and Sevastopol without support and I did not get Bulgaria… wow
1902: Austria happened. Seeing the mess we were making, Austria just waltzed in and took Bulgaria and Serbia. Also, Austria supported into Russia back into Sevastopol, but I took Moscow :D. Now, things were bad. I had Italy in the Eastern Sea, Austria trying to enter Constantinople, and Russia hating my guts. Not good. In fall, Italy had convoyed into Smryna and I lost my raiding force (also, I $#@(%&#*(@ moved Moscow to Ukraine on accident.)
1903:Italy (with Austria’s help) got into Smryna. Things were COMPLETEY messed up in the west, with England attacking everything nearby, Germans in St. Petersburg, and Russians in the German home centers. France and Austria had also proved themselves to be the most powerful countries of the game.
1904: The year of my defeat. Austria got into Constantinople spring, and Italy into Ankara fall. I was now just hoping that England or France takes power away from Austria and Italy so I can be avenged.

i was france and i wanted to expand toward germany but it was impossible with all the engish fleets surrounding me

You can thank me, England, for that. My plan worked perfectly.

Italy was also quite a force. A look at the italian/austrian alliance would have revealed that little stabbing was coming. Turkey played well but dealt with a crazy ivan and a good austrian/italian alliance

what a fuck up game, it was a mash-up. I don't like playing Russia so I thought I would party, little did I know everybody else had the same idea, it was nuts whole hazel nuts, just like the wild west.
A fun crazy game that was completely unpredictable.
What was Germany on, his second game I think :-)
I have never played a game quite as mad as that.

I saw the misorder and laughed. I knew you were cussing because i was laughing at it. You did best you could but damn nigee. Wtf. And germany a bigger wtf

The czech is a perfect example of how to play italy in gunboats. His builds in rome and not naples. Leaving ionian clear. Just really good. Made me feel safe. Lol

More specifically, I know if I could prevent France from building fleets in Brest, he would have to get them through the MAO to attack me, so I could also fall back there should my attack fail, or just take Portugal and Spain if I won.
Now, my attack did fail and I was forced to fall back, with France eventually retaking everything I took on the mainland (Brest, Holland, and Belgium), but in that time I was able to take all of Scandanavia (as Germany was WAY too counter Russia, and Russia just failed) and Kiel, along with possibly taking St. Petes next year. The last turn France and I traded Kiel for Belgium, but other than that we were even. I knew that because France managed to make it into the MAO that he could always flank me through the North Atalntic Ocean, so I needed to end the game before he could do that. Defeating France would have been my best outcome, but that seemed unreasonable, so a draw sounded good.

Germany's first move was good, pretending to attack Warsaw, that made Russia screw up a fair bit. He only seemed concerned with Russia though, and not me or France, so we defeated him wuite easily (along with help from some Russian armies)

Germany didn't make me screw up, I was in that mood, the fact that Germany went crazy made it fun. In the mean time Italy was caning Turkey and Austria was just being normal, don't know why the game ended so quick but I was happy to bail out with a profit of $31 after that shambles

but i would've been a bit harder to knock out in Moscow, at least. Germany was dying, the only threat i had was if Austria decided to come get me

Nixie you shouldn't have been in Moscow, what were you doing, you should have been fighting Austria in the Balkans......then you might have stopped the Lepanto from Italy

i tried! He would've gotten there anyways.... i was trying to form a new base

and i vote we call that opening the Baby Russia, where Russia lets Turkey into Rumania and Sevastopol to perpare the stab from Austria

Be honest, you'll all be doing it in your next games, it's a quick way to get control of the Black sea
Stressedlines (1559 D)
26 May 12 UTC
Stab? Any austria who doesnt gobble the balkans with that set up is not playing austria right. Especially with a good italy backing them up. For me it was the key. Give italy most of turkey so he felt like i respected the alliance and he played his builds perfect

Conor07 (942 D)
26 May 12 UTC
True Nigee, I can't just build a second fleet in the fall and take the Black Sea that way, or use deception by pretending to be Turkey's ally and betraying him, your method is so much better!

i guess stab was a bit strong. I guess attack would be more fitting for the stitutation

Conor. You are new so ill warn you. Dont ask if the game is anonymous. It is a ban offense. I know it is not intentional but i will warn ya before someone answers. Lol

26 May 12 UTC
Conor, what is supposed to happen is I go Armenia and then Black Sea goes Ankara in the Autumn to block me but i then move to Black Sea, both Ankara and Con are taken so your build is a fleet in Smyrna which helps you defend against a Lapanto from Italy.. It didn't quite work like that though ......
