Anyway, my plan when I drew Italy was that I'd try and create problems for France in an unusual way. Usually, if Italy is going to attack France, it's going to do the long, slow fleet stuff and hope that England and Germany are going to go that way and that there isn't a juggernaut going on. So, I took a poke at Munich as a way to build an extra fleet and give myself a couple of different routes into France. Sadly, by the time this went off, it became clear that England was going to go after Germany, not France, and that Turkey would have a free hand thanks to Russia's disinterest in them. Oh well, that's why you try new things, to see if they can work or not. NMRing to allow Turkey into Ionian didn't help matters at all, either.
