I am EST/EDT, and prefer around 8pm to go along with american football. But am somewhat flexible for our European members. Im off for the night now though.

We could set something up as simple as a wiki connected to the Google WebDip site where users could sign up for games in advance and check in beforehand in the XXCC group to make sure everyone is there, then a sub could be found in time to start the game.

@Damian: Tuesday nights are good for me too actually as are Thursdays. We could possibly have a 55CC game this Thursday? It seems we have enough interest already.

Ideally, it could be some kind of system where users wouldn't have to create a second account for the wiki, that could be a barrier for some users and a general pain in the ass.

It would depend on the time, naturally but I think I might be free from 7:30-on, depending on what my girlfriend ends up doing. You know >.>

Right. Accountability for missed games would also be a bonus. Not sure how this would work for gunboat, though. Signing up in a public forum kind of defeats the purpose, unless this is only used for non-anon games.

Yeah it kind of does. That's one of the problems with ANON games. =(

Here is sample of what I'd do for sign up.

Hourly times, have people put games into a column. People can them sign up for the game, by putting there name down next to it.

Editing works for whoever has the link.

So I'm guessing there would be seven names per box for a completed game? Also, you'd need to take into consideration creating the game beforehand and timing it correctly, but I don't think that would be a problem with experienced players.

Oh for sure. Create ahead of time and get the timing right. But yeah work out some of those kinks and I think you'd have it.

A stipulation should be added that the first person to sign up for a time lists the game link and password and then creates the game for that specific time.

Sargmacher, just inquiring and this isn't meant to cause a feud! I've played in one of the 50cc games and wanted to do more. The obvious attraction was that players who CD would not be in future games thereby resolving the issues surrounding that. Is there something similar here or is this in reality just another advertise your live games here thread? What makes it different?

I've read all the public stuff between you and Balaran and it just seems a shame, your both attempting to make quality live games for people and your both good players, surely a diplomatic solution could be found...
