This game started disasterously for me - I let Germany into Burgundy in 1901 and England into Brest in 1902. Fortunately, they started fighting and Russia jumped Germany, letting me regain my position and take MUN by 1905.
Russia and Turkey were the big boys at that point, and Russia had taken LVP, so I aided England back in to let him hold off the commie while I went south to beat on the Turk.
By 1908, Austria and Germany were gone, and everyone had voted draw - except Italy. I propped him up for a bit, then said "screw it" and started grabbing territory from him.
I was pondering a solo run in 1909 but Russia and I both made a supported attack on Keil, which screwed that. I had to kiss up for a bit before England went to beat on Russia, who had been stabbed by Turkey.
The game was drawn once Italy and Russia were eliminated.
So, again, what were you thinking, Italy?
