REPLACEMENT NEEDED: World Map, Spring 2001, 5-center Argentina

Argentina got banned for being a multi. Still early in the game and need a replacement to prevent completely unbalancing the game.

Reboot of cancelled world game: Gain the World, Lose Your Soul

Hey all, really enjoyed this world game I was in until it was cancelled due to a cheater CD. I was hoping most of the players in that game want to start a new one with about the same crew.. It was a high point world game, with a lot of players I'd love to play against again.

I made it anonymous, with password, this time though, because there was some discussion in global, on using info from outside this particular game. Just want to avoid as much discussion as possible and maximize this site's great game enjoyment.

Same buy-in: 101

. I think the game had 1.5 day turns, but correct me if I'm wrong.

PM me for the password. I will publish the participant list in this thread as it grows, so everybody knows who is in it..

If somebody else wants to join that wasnt in the previous game, please PM me as well! We need at least two replacement powers.

Well I hope we can fill this one up!

Had it been non-anon, fine. But the fun of World is you don't have to worry about GR, so you can have fun and chat with the people you know and get to know new people at the same time. You can't do that in anon.

Oh so thats the reason it was non-anon? I wanted to avoid that whole discussion we had in global at the start of the game and make it as competitive as possible. But if you guys think its better anon, I can def change it! Let me know!

The biggest reason I am not is that I am signed up in Babak's world game. And with university finals coming up next week, I think I am already in over my head. But I will think it over. I was having a good time with the players I had communication with.

Thanks for remembering me, guys. I was Russia. But I'm really not up for another one of these. As much as I love world games, I'm trying to wind down the number of games that I'm in, and with finals and all I just don't have time.

Haha.. Alright, I am in favor of a strongly policed and honest game ;) World games will keep being created though, dont worry.. This isnt reboot anymore, its just a regular new high stakes world game. Half of the players will be different :)

The curse of Austria is upon me :-(

I have Austria in all but one of my current classic games, 5 out of 6! What happened to balancing the countries you get?!I would think this was not supposed to happen with the selection program. Please advise. Unless it is the way the mods are getting back at me... (to be fair I am doing well in several of them, over 9 SCs in two, but still...)

We need someone to take austria in spring 1901.

Someone got banned in our game during spring 1901 (we are still in spring 1901). We need a replacement (for Austria). 2 days/turn game. 46 hours left at the moment since time was added.

Moves question (can't believe I have to ask this -_-)

If Russia has an army in Moscow and that army moves to another center and fails. At the same time Russia moves to Moscow from StP with support from Livonia. At the same time Turkey moves from Ukraine to Moscow with support from Sevastopol. If it matters the army in Moscow is moving to Warsaw which is occupied by a German army that does not move the entire time. Who ends up with Moscow?
None of the centers involved are attacked in any way besides what was described.
