Sorry, I don't think the lions have one of the best offences in the league.. I meant to say "what was purported to be" the best offences in the league. Thats what the announcers were claiming on thursday morning anyway. I would agree that the Packers, Patriots and the Saints are clear front runners, with Dallas (when Romo isn't flustered), Atlanta (at home), and Pittsburg (when Big Ben isn't chasing women), are the runners up but not as explosive as the front three.
The Lions, the Bears (with Cutler), the Texans (with Shaub), and the Giants (with all players healthy), and SF would be other offenses I wouldn't want to try to come from behind against, though all these (except maybe SF) are currently rather suspect.
The rest are a crap shoot, though Cinncinati, Carolina, Buffalo, and Miami (under Matt Moore) have shown they can be good. Baltimore and the Jets have pitiful offences, though their top caliber defenses keep them in most games.
