He had a game, it looks like, where he was all seven players and several that he played where he controlled two.

I heard dr rush was as well but have no real confirmation on that.

I think that was one of his multis as I saw dr rush (IIRC) in one of Cockney's games.

I've always wondered -- why don't multis get more involved in the forum and argue with themselves? Surely that would be more fun than cheating ingame...

How do you know they don't? Maybe Sicarius and Krellin are the same person, and he sends PMs to himself then posts them in a forum thread.

This gives me an idea.

Cockney and dr rush, if they were the same guy, did argue in forum threads a few times.

I guess you can discuss it, just don't expect an official reasoning behind it.
I will say two things:
1.) I was not the mod who banned the recent player (cause I haven't had a banning in like a week), so don't try and grind me for info.

2.) We have a LOT of tools at our disposal to find possible multis/metas, delve into them, collect evidence, and only ban when we have some pretty solid proof. So if someone was banned, it was a pretty obvious case. I've seen one unbanning since I've been a mod and it was a rookie mistake (*cough*mine*cough*).

You joke, but I've seen multi's try (sometimes too hard) to divert attention to themselves. I've banned 3 people.... who reported multi's (yeah, btw - if you report a multi or meta, I check you, too). I've seen multi's put up quite a display of talking to one another, etc...

You know, the whole diversion of attention via marking for moderation thing isn't surprising to me. One player, ariabaghieri or something like that, claimed to have reported me for cheating when I backstabbed him... he was later banned for cheating. Imagine that.

You'd be surprised how often this happens. In fact, whenever a new player says something stupid, the first thing I do is see if he's a multi.

7 players? Did he play the standard game? If so(despite having more than 1 acct) is that cheating lol?

First, because someone will point it out, I'm *not* a mod...

That said, the rules clearly state that having more than one account is a violation of the terms, regardless if they play together. Add to it the fact that he guaranteed himself 700 and points are meant to keep new players from getting into too many games and ruining the experience for others until they can handle them, then yes, he stole 600 more points from the site and was then able to get into high stakes games that got him even more if he won or drew in them. So yes, it *is* cheating.
