@Draugnar - it's two hours, in the car, both ways. The first part is on a one way road that winds through the hills; the second part is through a state where the highway partrol write tickets if they even *think* you're looking at a phone and not the road ;)

While it sucks, I wasn't really in a position to be choosy by the time I got the contract

@strat - I know what you mean. You take the jobs you can get. I'm so glad to be back at corporate work but as a salaried consultant to my company's customers (Cincom Systems - look 'em up if you like: www.cincom.com ).

@Draug - I hopefully will have an offer next week that will take me out of consulting work and into something with vacation, and only an hour commute each way ;)
