So, after being on this site for several months I have to say that it's got a lot of great things going for it, not least of all being a very active community of people who enjoy posting in the forum. It is mostly to you who this message is directed.
One of the main downfalls I've found with games here is the ever recurring theme of CD's, NMRs..etc.. for the most I've found this is from inexperienced players who get easily frustrated. Sometimes it can be someone has joined a game that only starts in 5 hours and they forget, but I think it is primarily the former.
I, like a lot of people here, enjoy playing anonymous games quite a bit, however the one downfall I have with them is not knowing who I will be playing against. By this I don't mean who-is-which country, but rather, who is actually in the game. I was thinking, and forgive me if this has been addressed or is a dumb idea, but could there be an option for an anonymous game that only actually turns anonymous after the 7th player has joined?
In that way, players could limit the amount of encounters they have with players of low-sportsmanship.
Anyway, like I said, it might be a really bad idea.. but, maybe it, or something like it could work.
