For the life of me I don't get the point of any sacraments in Calvinism, since they believe in the 'elect' and they are explicitly not a 'means of grace'.

There isn't a shred of proof that Jesus ever existed. That doesn't seem to bother anybody. Nor was it ever the custom of Romans to bury crucifixion victims or the Jews to bury criminals in family tombs. Oh well.

How about the fact that Jesus's divinity was decided by a majority vote at the Council of Nicea, or, in other words, christian leaders used the same process to decide a central tenet of your religion as I do with my friends to pick Chinese over Italian for dinner
