What do you plan on putting into that empty case? Right now you have the body of a supermodel with all the internal organs removed. It's what's inside that counts!

I bought the case early once I heard about Intel's recall, but here are some preliminary specs:

Intel Core i7-2600k cooled by a Noctua NH-C14. (Painting the fans of course!)
Asus P8P67 Deluxe powered by a Corsair 850HX. (Replacing the decal to match colour)
8GB (2x4) G.SKILL 1600 RAM and HT Omega Claro Halo sound.
Two of the Sapphire Radeon HD 6950's (Flashing the bios to make them 6970's)
Intel's Sata III SSD coming out in March and a set of WD Black's for raid 0 file storage.

Should be fun! But I still have a lot more to do to the case. Etching the window acrylic, installing a natural lighting system with a rocker switch on the front. Painting the Gentle Typhoon fans, etc.

i dont even know what half (ok almost all) of those things are but show us the pics when your done, it sounds pretty awesome.

Using three 24" LED Monitors for some gaming eyefinity style, but more importantly my work and development. I haven't had a serious home rig in a while and had to leave my office setup behind. I'm attached to three screens and could never go back. Modeling, programming, sound and video, I love and need it all.

@Ava, no way, it'll be blasting through headphones. That's what the card /w amp is for!

@Geofram - I only run on 2 monitors, but they are both 32" 1080p 120Hz Visio HDTVs. Makes for a great WoW experience while watching my favorite shows the wife can't tolerate.

And I don't really care what my system looks like. I actually have a dual I5 Dell E5400 laptop with 8 Gig RAM connected to a docking station so I can take my WoW and webDip on the road to bingo with the wife when needed.

Resolution > Screen Size!
I'm going with 24" because I want to, but in all reality, its almost too big for FoV immersion at the highest possible resolution. If I sat closer to the screens it would break the effect. Gaming with eyefinity is just surreal, I almost feel like its cheating.

I'm waiting on a decent slim sandy bridge to hit the market. An update to the Asus Timeline X would be perfect.

I'm not sure that's entirely true. I'd prefer to have a larger screen over higher resolution after around 1280x1024, tbh.

What are you doing mouse-wise? I run a Logitech Trackman Optical (wired version) thumb trackball with clickable scroll wheel both in the bag and on the docking station so I can use the same feeling mouse at bingo and at home without having to disconnect it.

@ 1920x1080, 32" is just about right for two monitors side by side. They are about 3 feet from me anyhow as I have them at the back of the desk so I can have white papers or books in front of me when I'm working.

Yeah, I've got (2) 19'' at home and (1) 32" in the lab.

One of these days, I need to try WoW on the Sony 46" 1080p24 HDTV in the living room.

Oh man, we've got a 60" TV. My roommates and I played Bioshock on it. It was epic.

60"? How big is your room? You know you should sit at least 1.5 times the distance away from the TV, right?

Oh, we sit much too close : ) The living room is probably 20'-ish.

Well, that doesn't mean you have to sit too close. We considered a 60"+ one and we have a 20*16 living room, but I didn't want to spend $1500 or more on the TV and I had to have LCD or LED at 1080p24 minimum. The Sony 46" LCD cost $800. That was just about right.

Well, this TV was damaged due to a factory defect so we got it for free. $300 fix and it's good as new : )

I value working space too much. Screen size does not improve working space or productivity. 1080p's full benefit is realised on a 17" screen, anything more than that is a personal preference (to a point.) I'll be running at 5760x1080, something no HDTV can produce.

Oh, I agree, It's all personal preference. I find 1080 on my 19" is pretty perfect for me.

No, I meant resolution. Three 1080p 24" create a resolution three times as greater any HDTV. To put that into perspective for the gamer-only's, I get to see 3x more than you on the screen meaning when you have to turn to see someone, I've already seen them. Hence why I called it near-cheating.

Oh yeah, that is a huge advantage.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I can only have WoW running on one monitor at a time unless I run in windowed mode.

Now all you need are those IR glasses so that when you turn your head, your screens move.
