The oil spill is definitely a big deal, along with Obama cussing out BP. haha On a slightly less global scale, Inception was released and it was (in my opinion) one of the best films ever made so I think that deserves noting. Falloutboy broke up. The democrats took a big hit in congress (though the president's party always tends to have that happen for the mid term elections). Apple released the iPad and iPhone 4 (first phone with webcam).

And no new years resolutions for me. I think they;re silly and prefer making goals and oddball times during the year.

I do have a new year resolution, despite agreeing with jman77 that they are silly.
But hey, I'm not going to delay my resolution just because it's the end of the year, right?
I'm going to start waking up earler. It's simple but I think it'll make wonders for my routine and how much I can do in a day.

my resolution would probably be to cut down my time on facebook and webdip. takes up too much time. i could be getting a lot more done

My major event of 2010 is that I lost 28 lbs - 10% of my body weight! I also lost £200 (to charity) - the cost of the bet I had with my friends (I bet I'd actually lose more). The bet worked enough that I'm doing it again in 2011 though.

Oil spill was the big event for me, but that shouldn't be a real shocker for those of you aware of where I live. I don't have a specific resolution; a lot of the changes one would suggest I already (intentionally or otherwise) made over the past month (accidentally lost 22 pounds -- don't ask -- and made quite a few necessary changes in how I operate day-to-day), so I guess I'll just be maintaining those changes now.

oh yeah i lost 40lbs this year i totally forgot about that.
