I assume by his statements he has not heard of olidip. So go to olidip.net and register there, and they have tons of variants.

olidip.net has chaos installed, just invite the 34 players (or advertise here) and grab a quick game.

the only weakness of that site is finding players, and they are here... there is no issue advertising olidip games here (except having to click an external link, and if people can't do that what are they doing online at all??)

To answer your original question, Kestas doesn't exactly have a massive amount of time to add code, so the votes of the masses are less important than the coding of the masses - in other words, be prepared to put in the effort of writing the code yourself if you want something shiny

Ok, I'm set up. I'll advertise here when I'm ready and have a date and time in mind. For those that know, would this work as a live game? :/

no, sorry, but there are never 34 people online at the same time there.
It's hard enough getting a two-player live game started.

And that's fine, Tab, as long as you (and this is the general 'you', not singling you out specifically) don't get bent out of shape when the Powers That Be don't rearrange their entries lives to handle your priorities ;)

two palyer live games are easy, 7 player live games are hard - 34 player live games would be nigh on impossible. Which means i think you should try!

I went there to play colonial dip. It's fun but Russia is handicapped seriously.
Fog of war is fun too.

@Eden: Yeah but people are too classy to do that. Surely diplomacy, where you can get all that deception out on the game board makes for nicer players.
@Strat: I'm a noob, not a Knob. However, a live game is sit down and play. For a game that long, I reckon a pause and resume the next day or week would be a good idea. If they had to leave for a good reason, fair enough. However, I'm entitled to be pissed if you sign up to a game knowing or intending to CD. :)

I’ll post time and date when I decide whether live or not would be fun. First I’m going to do a little advertising and reviewing of other games before I commit to a date. Inform the masses! The mega game approaches! :P
