Excellent live WTA game
Really nice example of how people should respond to shifting dynamics on the board, lots of fun, only a few random NMRs, and a fantastic game all around. gameID=14312

Anonomous games
I am too paranoid to have multi's or meta's in a game that I am joining that already has 3-4 newly joined players. If I make the game it's fine but they never fill lol. Tell me my level of paranoia lol this game is worse than how THC is portrayed.

Not for cry babies
New game, for grown ups only people who sulk when stabbed, cry like babies if things don't go their way and take 24hrs to disband a unit when they have no other options need not apply. You know who you are.....

Early phase change?
Did the system change to where if everyone finalizes, the next phase is automatically started? Even just yesterday I thought that even if all 7 players finalized, we still had to wait out the last few minutes (in a 5 minute/phase Live game).

Today on the Help->FAQs the topic about faster phases was removed and I saw something in there about how it would automatically end the phase early if everyone's finalized.

Basically, this is how it went. Honduras defeated their rivals El Salvador yesterday but still needed Costa Rica to lose or draw against the US in order to avoid a play off with Uruguay. At first, it seemed as though Costa Rica had the game in the bag( a 2-1 score nearing the end of the game) But at the last moments of the game Jonathon Bornstein scored a historic header in the 95th MINUTE that drew the game at 2-2!!! Incredible!! The Ticos were so close.

Actually, their constitution was the basis for the removal of the president. :/
rdrivera2005 (3533 D(G))

Their constitution has no rules about arresting the president in the middle of the night and sending him to another country.....
Zelaya was doing an illegal (against the constitution) try to be re-elected, but he should have been prosecuted and maybe lost his position on the court of law, not that way.
Living in a country where once there was a golpist government (that last 20 years) I can say that nothing is worst than that, even a populist president that want to be on charge for long time.

The legal analysis I've seen says that removing him from office was mandated, but deporting him was illegal.

This article has a interpretation vey different from other one´s I have read (dont have the links now) and heard (I am a law student, and almost all the International law teachers here were against that).
Just to point on thing, using the article you sent:
"On June 26, the Chief Prosecutor filed a Criminal Complaint before the Supreme Court
of Justice, requesting that Zelaya be arrested under an accusation of the crimes of acting against the established form of government, treason against the country, abuse of authority, and usurpation of functions. On the same day, the Supreme Court of Justice unanimously voted to appoint one of its Justices to hear the process in its preparatory and intermediate phases; that Justice carried out the request, issuing an arrest and raid warrant. Two days later, on June 28, 2009, Zelaya was arrested."

You can´t have the due process of law in a decision made in one day and with no opportunity for the defense.
Also the justification used from the Honduras court (and same on this paper) was that the "Constitution grants the courts the authority to apply laws to specific cases and to adjudicate and enforce judgments", but you apply the law that way, the Supreme court can´t do whatewer they want, which is not true in any legal state.

Warrant hearings are typically ex parte, duder.

I am not sure what you are saying in that last paragraph.

Wait, what does an international law teacher have to say about the domestic law of Honduras?
rdrivera2005 (3533 D(G))
16 Oct 09 UTC
Well, you post a link to a paper from someone from a Directorate of Legal Research for Foreign, Comparative, and International Law , so you tell me.
Anyway, this is a pointless discussion, because now it's more a a diplomatic issue than a legal one.

the fact is, a military coup is no way to deal with the situation... it only continues the perception that right-wing militaristic and corporate interests are, as always, arrayed against the majority of the people... this is true whether its in Honduras, Iran, or the US...

Strange Bug...
A few minutes ago I logged in and checked my in-game messages. I had three messages, clicked on the games, and read them all. Then I left and came back a few minutes and the envelope was there for the games again. I checked them, and it hadn't recorded that I had read the messages I read.

Maybe this is just a one time glitch, and if it is, I'm sorry.

"They can suck it"
In the press conference after Argentina's win over Uruguay, wich led to direct qualyfication to the 2010 World Cup, Argentina's coach, Diego Maradona, dedicated the victory to the players, his family, and the Argentinian people.

To his detractors, the message was clear: "They can suck it"
