But I think it might get a bit confusing if several players try to recruit others for several different password protected games, all while discussing wta/ppsc, buy-in, non/anon and phase lenght in one thread. IMO that thread is mo0re adapted for games without password.

This actually sounds perfect if I make the cut (I think my GR is still somewhere between 150 and 100), one of my games is about to end and I don't have as much time for my usual 36-48 hr games due to work. I'd prefer to bet on the lower side of the range you said, though, 'cause I'm kinda poor.

I can vouch for the fact that Stackelberg is a great addition to any game for those who haven't played with him before.

I think the fact that I don't know what either of those GR or RR things mean probably means I'm not qualified for the game

RR stands for "Reliability Rating" it uses turns missed (No Moves Received, or "NMR") and games abandoned (Civil Disorder, or "CD") to create a percentage representing a player's reliability. Yours is not great.

Ghostrating (GR) is a rating system similar to chess's ELO maintained offsite that is often used as an alternative to points for ranking players. They're generally kept on the webDiplomacy tournaments page, but they haven't been released in their full form there in several months. The link Sevyas posted at the beginning of the thread has the most recent ones.

Ahhh yes. I have been off and on in the website. When I was 13, my parents banned me from the site, so a few games went into CD. That sucked. Fast forward a few years later, and here I am. Anyway, thanks for letting me know, I'm off this thread now as I am of no more use to it.
