This is my favourite of those I played. Unfortunately, the game is old, so you cannot see the units moving. Here is the story:
Germany was a multi, I knew it, I have been watching him. (not the one listed, he left and Germany was taken over in the end). So, Germany expands like crazy, Russia, England and Italy being his subservant friends (multis?), and I join the game in place of a dropped out Italy. My home country is gone to Germany, but I have some units in the Balkans. France is OK, he is passive, but at least not multi-pawn to Germany. Turkey is down to 1 center. I made a grand alliance with Turkey. At that spring, Germany has 18 or 19 centers. But I sneak-attack him in Serbia (he was confident, and did not realize Italy was taken over) Note the name of the game: Serbia's revenge ;)
So Germany is taken by surprise, and he finishes the year with 17 centers. We have lots of skirmishes, and Germany is at 17 for two or three years. Little by little, my ally Turkey starts to grow. We eventually overpower Germany, he leaves. I help Turkey to win for the kick of it.
