Saying that I "believe" in global warming implies some kind of religious faith. That is at least misleading. Yes, I am convinced by the empirical evidence that there is a general trend toward global warming at the present time. This is possibly influenced by human activity.

But what you failed to mention about my position, which I have repeated here several times, is that, in the big picture, global warming may be a good thing. Yeah, I know its bad for most humans of the current epoch, especially in Miami and Bangladesh, BUT it is only slightly correcting the cooling trend that has been going on for 3+ billion years. This cooling trend has lead to several recent "ice ages," and if it were allowed (without our global warming) to continue unabated, it can end only one way: Snowball Earth.

So yes I believe in global warming, and I support it. So piss off.
