MOSCOW/DAMIAN FOR GOON?
Vote history:
Day 1: Moscow was on DemonOverlord all day. Here was his reasoning:
“I'm actually down to join Vash here &&vote DO
Stupid's case made some sense as he was generally useless and was bound to get mislynched. Still though - of course it would've been better to stay alive. But encouraging anyone with a pitchfork to impale themselves? What if someone like Oztra saw that and did exactly that, not knowing better?”
Ick.
Day 5: Damian was on Vashta, rdrivera, and then on Ogion, for what certainly makes sense as a survival vote.
Just as Day 5 was ending, shot Chaqa.
Day 6: First Glen voter, stayed there all day.
Day 7: Was on Balki for a while, and then has been the only one to join me on Oztra
Well, I think the Day 1 Moscow vote looks bad. But not conclusive. Lots of townies make bad Day 1 votes.
I think that his gun shot of Chaqa is the most townie thing he has done. When he took that shot, there had been one backfired gun, and no real gun. I suppose he could have felt like it was a worthwhile risk that if there is one fab gun, there is at least one real gun, and so his gun had a pretty good chance of being real. He was also close to being lynched, and Chaqa was on his wagon. So shooting Chaqa helped him get through that lynch. That’s a reasonable gamble as mafia.
I think the gun shot basically clears Damian of being ghost, but it would make sense, under the circumstances, as goon.
Still, I’ve really liked Damian’s thought process since he joined the game. One thing in particular, on the day we were all lynching Maniac, after his ridiculous pitchfork/Oracle claim, Damian encouraged everyone to have a second pick for scum. It was the sort of thing that town would think of, and I think it was less likely to be a faked town process. I commented about it at the time. Just struck me as townie.
Out of time. On balance, I read Damian as town. The D1 Moscow vote is bad, but lots of townies make bad D1 votes.
