No, I figured y'all would actually weigh the chances of a townie making such a claim, versus a ghost making such a claim. But instead you all are voting based on thin, buzzwords like:

- Balki lied; or
- Balki is defensive

That's just poor mafia. You need to consider the motivations behind stuff, and weigh the town motivations with the mafia motivations.

That said, I need to focus on what I can control, and take my share of the blame for being mislynched. My reaction test was clearly too much of a gamble, and I should have considered more carefully the townies that we have left in our little town. Not a of effortful folks, to say the least.

Yes, my ghost analysis is the same. Oztra and Zorc are most likely. I'd lynch Oztra first.

I can't see ghost or goon putting as much effort as Balki is putting into reading everyone. I'm feeling way more confident about my Oztra vote. But that may be the alcohol talking.

Earlier that day the Amish had found Stutman, a person of interest, and dragged him before the acting judge of Big Valley.

A chorus of other voices rang out from inside the court house chambers. Each was demanding Stutman to explain himself.

Stutman: Fine! Do you all remember Old Badge Firecrotch? How about Harold? This town has made some big mistakes over the past few years!

The court house burst into a raucous uproar.

The Amish demanded that Stutman be executed for his crimes against the town. Hours passed, but finally the acting judge rendered a decision.

Judge Joseph: Stutman, I find you guilty!

Before Stutman could continue Able hit him on the head with a shoe. They took him out behind the court house. As the Amish walked an eerie fog began to descend upon the town. Most of them paid it no mind as they were confident that Stutman was behind it all. After Stutman had died and the sun set the fog fully engulfed the town and all felt fear.

We are royally screwed. I take my share of the blame, I was not confident on lynching Balki but didn't make an effort. This is a bad period for the deciding days of the game is all I can say.
I hope the last goon can see he need to target the ghost, otherwise he won't have a chance too.

I don't get how you guys looks at the effort he was putting in at the end to furnish us with reads and still thought he was a good vote. It's not like the two inactive players were going to move. Oztra and Zorlek, basically don't show up for EOD. Oztra showed up to make a quip and vanished again

Why does it matter? It means that there was little chance of his doing so actually effecting the outcome, meaning he did it because he wanted the town to win.

well who is left now? i think it is one ghost, one mafia, and 4 town. if i have missed anything let me know. i think that zor might be ghost, purely because he has not been doing much. maybe damian or rdiv are mafia, but then again idk. purely guessing on past behaviours.

I've gone back and looked through all of the Balki reads/reaction test stuff from yesterday. He put a lot of effort into it and I'd suggest everyone do the same.

Knowing we are at 4-1-1
There are a few potential scenarios for tomorrow.
1. We are still at 4-1-1. Meaning the goon either held his shot, got haunted (only works out mathematically if Vash is our ghost, otherwise the ghost wouldn't have enough haunts I think.) or shot the ghost unsuccessfully.
2. We are at 3-1-1, probably the most likely situation. How bad things look for us will depend if the goon hits haunted town or not.

I'm hoping that we get scenario one. And I think scenario one is probably in the goons best interest too, unless he's a likely lynch target for tomorrow. As we're awful close to a ghost victory and the goon needs us to lynch the ghost before he can win. I'm hoping by presenting this here the goon might consider holding his shot.

Next up who's all left
Zorklex - I buy the whole he's still reading argument. But even not withstanding his own actions, he's my #2 pick for ghost based mostly on the process of elimination. I know snowy has made a case for Bald-ghost which in so far as I recall it was based a lot on his knowledge of Balds typical behaviour. That kind of case is hard for me to assess. But I think I buy it.

Rdrivera: I've still got a weak read on him. I'm having a little bit of trouble keeping track of what all happened what with the two different qt stories. I know we ghost cleared him because of the supposed ghost posting in the qt. But Balki revealed that the ghost never posted in the QT in his summary of everything kaka said in the QT. Meaning we can discount that argument. Perhaps the lack of ghost posting in the QT is because RDR was worried he'd be caught. Balki thinks his reactions were towns to the reaction test. So I'm not super confident in my line of arguement above. My #3 ghost pick.

Oztra: My #1 ghost pick. Inactive enough for most of the game to try and be coasting through. Offline enough he could potentially have missed a haunt explaining our missing ghost kill and the cherry for me, tend to reappear whenever anyone starts applying pressure to him.

Vash my long bomb out of left field ghost case. I felt a lot better about it earlier, at this point I think it requires to many assumptions and coincidences for me to follow through and vote based on it. But if he flips ghost I think I've pieced together the exact sequence of events, and they're unlikely enough if a Vash is ghost I'm okay losing to him.

Snowy. Cleared of being the ghost. I like what Balkis saying about him not being adequately pressured for his day 1 vote, he's either the first or second person I'm going to want to look at once the ghost is dead and we need to find the goon.

Not completely sure. Just a feeling I have. As I said, I have unfortunately been unable to follow this game very closely as of late (passed my exam though! I'm ready to count the shekels), so I'll see where this feeling takes me as the day develops.

And I'm pretty sure you and Vash are both town now, so I imagine:

a) rdrivera is the ghost, and he lied about cleansing my haunt. But he ded
b) rdrivera is the goon, in which case he has no reason to lie about the haunt. Therefore as Vash is purified, I'm purified and Ezio, Kaka, Darg and Bald were haunted on day 8 ghost is on exactly 1 haunt. Ergo, if we mislynch and get the goon instead ghost will still only have at most 2 haunts, and as there are no night kills (unless... shit, could the ghost have a pitchfork? but anyway) we'll be at 2 haunts and 3 town, and we can just lynch the other no biggie.

I'll try to read up on both now though. I've got all the time in the world.

Oh man, I won my 1v1 tournament tiebreaker too. Today was a good day.

@Snowy - If we myslynch we lose. We are 3-1-1, with a myslynch it will be 2-1-1 and unless Mafia hit the ghost it's game over for town. I am a VT and didn't lie about cleaning you.
