What if the internet shut down on holidays?

A random 4th of July thought. Why do servers still run on holidays? Pretty much all businesses are closed.

On The Forum

As some of you may know, I have been a strong proponent of a one forum system. After some careful reflection, though, I've decided separate forums are better. I have a proposal that would allow for the separation of topics without the segregation of the community that many fear. I realize this is a sensitive topic, so I would appreciate serious criticism only. I have taken the liberty of making a mock-up of my proposed forum here: http://i.imgur.com/rgcdsO2.png

Wjessop gets mafia MVP for sure. Pretty much universally townread before the counterclaim, and even then the only reason he got lynched was because of my bussing.

I think I have a decent claim to town mvp :D

I put my vote on him at the end.. didn't matter.

I told Y2K earlier that I would be interested in co-gm or gm for the future. But it would be my first one so if someone more experienced wants to do it (Chaqa said he might want too) that's cool with me.

I am more surprised by the last lynch being Maniac. Seriously, the end of Day 4 convinced me (and was so confused on Maniac due to him being Manaic) that the last two mafia had to be of DL/Capt/Ghug (granted I thought it was ghug and DL but still). Like only if the mafia had decided to use a plan that gave them the least chance of winning would he be mafia, and Maniac wouldn't be in a mafia that used the plan that gave them the least chance of winning.

Wjessop played well, but I'm not sure he's the mafia MVP. The only reason he was so townread is because he forced ghug to do all the mafia's dirty work (yet he still survived?????). Same goes for meme, who did a good job being the mafia's back-up plan, precisely because he didn't have any responsibilities.

@Brankl: I'd say I instrumental in getting Chaqa and OB lynched.

But you're cetainly right that ghug was great; great to work with. Our online personalities contrived to make us seem like 2 people who certainly wouldn't be working together on a team.

@wjessop yeah you played a big role in the lynches, but ghug went all out to protect me, first voting chaqa then switching to yoyo in a really scummy way. He voted for me first, but still... I'm thinking he didn't want a chaqa lynch when he and i were the two biggest proponents.
