@ghug I'm not sure what this game is, if it isn't 1) here's what someone did, 2) here's why they say they did it, 3) there's a chance they actually did it for this reason, 4) I'm willing to state that I think 3) is more likely than 2). But Snowy is right that it's mostly bull anyway, and none of us can be certain, we just try and talk in certainties to convince other people. And you're right that the same logic that I used to suggest a case for your scumminess could equally be applied to anyone else - but isn't that the point of this?

Re. Your showing town motivation. That's not enough: showing town motivation could just as easily be a good way of hiding as scum - if not the best way!

But all right. Let's assume that the process I went through to come to my voting conclusion could be applied to everyone, as you suggest. That being the case, we should ignore everything else that anyone says as it could be as likely that it is honest, town-loving logic as it could be a sneaky scum cover. So ignoring everything that has been said, I still think we should vote for you because by the nature of how you have acted (not by what you've said, which could be true or false) you offer the biggest payoff if we are correct - as I've already explained.

How do I provide more information if I happen to flip scum? You've said that my teammates are the people who won't vote for me. We can easily say the exact same thing about rd (though I won't, because scum has no incentive to vote as a bloc right now when the town can't agree).

I beg someone on the ghug wagon to come over to the rd wagon. I do not think ghug is scum and have a much stronger case against Rd. If this is a life or death decision then I ask anyone who is on the fence to come to the rd side. If I am wrong and Rd is town (something I don’t think is true) then I will take full responsibility for the towns loss this game.

It's true that I've not done that. But I don't know that there is such a thing as something with completely zero town motivation. And I must have missed it if you said it about Rivera or Vash. I'm sorry if I'm being dense, but could you repeat it?

Vash coming in and just casting a vote for the most popular lynch a couple days in a row has precisely zero town motivation.

@Kench- I am not certain ghug is town nor am I certain Rd is scum. But over the course of the game ghug has constantly put forth ego dort to solve problems; question lurkers; and actually play. Rdrivera has only come on to make jokes and goof off. His contribution has been null. Now ghug could very well be an excellent scum and Rd a terrible town. But that’s not what the evidence suggests.

Rd hasn't been looking for scum for days. Vash doesn't even care enough to read the game, which as town he'd either do or ask for a replacement due to lack of time. Where do you see town motivation in either of those?

@CB I maintain that ghug's regular scum searching does not preclude the possibility that he is scum. It's actually probably the best cover for scum. Now if his constant input had been actively good for the town then, obviously, it would be difficult not to townread him. The fact is that we have been, as a town, exceptionally bad at lynching scum and at least some of that will have been down to ghug's reading.

It would also be easy to tell when it’s fake. Especially since ghug is really bad at hiding it. He comes off as more manipulative when he’s scum.
